thanks for the prompt response. But compared to the 1998 to 2000 model S40 , heard ppl say the older model is more rugged, how true? since it has different engine variant, which is rugged, easy to maintain, cheaper to maintain, and last longer?

That's right, the 97 to 00 models are more "rugged" (aka can take abuse better), naija style.

They're cheaper to maintain too, but if you're ok with driving a 20yr old car then, with all pleasure
