Hi,

I sympathize with you but be composed in your next step. Let me give you one instance why you should follow-up with the agent. Not to claim a refund BUT to clarify on the application.

If the agent did apply (which I doubt) and mentioned that you have a sibling but you actually have two. It could also be you saying no previous refusal but you were refused and the agent didn't say so. If you "re-apply" and state that you have two siblings, or you were never refused, those are discrepancies which could cost you a 5-year ban or worse.

That is why you should be aware of what really happened. The best case situation is that no application was actually lodged then you can start on a clean sheet.

Best.

You are right sir. I will follow up on the application.

Could this really been an issue? If she has not done her biometrics, how can the former application be traced to her?

Hello house, i need your help. My agent has been on the study visa application since last August that he was paid to apply because i had already gotten admission in May last year. I have done biometrics or medicals. What couls be the issue?
check your mail
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Akannitommy: 5:30am On Jun 25, 2021
You are absolutely right on that but that is valid only if no application was submitted. Since the agent never released access to the supposed application, there is a small possibility the agent didn't inform applicant about biometric request? It is a small chance but not totally impossible. I would follow up just to be sure there are no surprises.

Let us celebrate every the little victories.

Godspeed to us all.

So sorry about that.

Hello house. So I have been reading some tips on how to send my passport for stamping and I need some clarifications please.

I did my biometrics at Abj and I reside in another state.
I saw that one way courier is N12,570, does this mean that I have to pay N(2 X 12,570) for a two-way courier to Canada Logistic Collection account?

Also let's assume I will be using DHL, do I also need to pay a two way courier fee to DHL with the exception of the fees I paid to VFS office?

I ask because I have read here that sending passport to abj after doing biometric there is cheaper than someone who did biometrics in Lagos and is sending passport to Abj? I am also confused with this two and one way thingy.

Again, which one is yellow biometrics slip?

Someone please enlighten me.

Good morning House. Please someone should help answer this question. I am sorry if this question has been answered before biko.

You need a two way courier to Abuja and back to you.
As you can't physically go to VFS office for stamping. The money you will pay since your biometrics was collected in Abuja is only for DHL or UPS.

I hope this helps

Hello guys

I have a question. I told my Sponsor to get his mybankstatement certificate from his bank however he called me that he doesn’t have funds any more in the account I used during my application. He had about 20million in that account then when I submitted his statement of account along with other documents. Now he is asking if he can use another of his Zenith account where he has funds and send the MBS for NSE. Should I send it as an additional document first or what? Then attach a letter to explain

Please I need your advice

Hello Kachiii47,

There is no harm in doing as you have intended. It may only cause some delay to verify its authenticity.

However, since you applied with a sufficient financial record, it may not be a bad idea to wait until an updated BS/MBS is requested.

Best of Luck

I can only answer for the yellow biometrics slip. It is the slip (paper) you got from VFS on the day of your biometrics.
Regarding the 2-way courier, Lianna2020 will know better as she did something similar.

Hello All,

Is it advisable to upload MBS through webform even if no request was sent by IRCC?

Good morning Ladyblaq, congratulations on your PPR, im so happy for you. You have been celebrating with others and now its your turn to be celebrated.
You don't need to pay transmission fee again since you did your Biometrics in Abuja. Just include the yellow slip in the envelope you are sending.
Secondly, you need to pay for two way carrier so that they can deliver it back to your house address.
I hope this helps

DeeShares:
Good day everyone. I hope you are all doing well. I would greatly appreciate some advice.

On Monday, I received a Request Letter and they want documentation on the following:

- Updated study plan outlining the purpose of your studies;
- Confirmation of who is funding your studies in Canada and their relationship to you, and proof of their income and funds for the last 6 months
- Confirmation of whether you are or have been represented either by a designated individual or paid representative, and if so have you submitted a completed form (designated individual IMM5475/ paid representative IMM5476)

I am wondering if anyone else got such request. I have gotten proof of my sponsors income and funds for the last 6 months but with regards to my updated study plan, I am not sure what more I can include that was not in my original study plan.

I would really appreciate if any of the gurus in the house could advise me because it seems like this is what is standing in the way of me getting my study visa.

Hello DeeShares,

This is new and you must be lucky that these specifics dittoed in your post were requested. Make good use of the second chance as not everybody gets this opportunity.

The officer might have sensed some discrepancies and may want to base a conclusion on your honesty.

The IMM 5476 Form requested is to serve as tangible evidence in the case of a JR that the information provided was conscientiously supplied.

It is not a must that you rewrite another study plan IF you think you are very certain of the information in your study plan as instrumental to meet your study intent. If not, do the needful.

Ensure to practice information consistency.

Best of Luck.

Also if you don’t have the yellow slip, use the whit long one .
No need for transmission fee.
