All it does is allow your screenshots bright irrespective of the brightness level and without adding a dark cast on the screenshots

Pls kindly suggest a good custom rom for the redmi note 8 with good battery life.

I read the pixel plus ui is good but I want more suggestions, thanks.

The End is Near, But...

Hello Whyred Xiaomi.eu fans. Been a while grin... Flashed the latest Miui 12.0.3 stable 2 days ago after it dropped sometime last week, and it's been smooth... as always. I've been on the weekly version for months eagerly waiting for the stable version and it's been refreshingly beautiful & fluid since installation... A bit of minor additions & some bug fixes.

The latest stable would be most likely the last major update for Redmi Note 5 Ai/pro.. I don't see Miui 12.5 happening for this legendary machine, but Xiaomi know how to surprise fans! Maybe it has been announced officially it won't be getting the update, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed lol. There're tons of Miui12.5 (Android 11) available for whyred via ports & AOSPs , but I don't do ports or AOSP! It's Xiaomi.eu or nothing grin

I intend to squeeze out at least 2 more years from this amazing super horse! It's been over 2.5 years in this satisfying journey & the battery among other essentials remains strong and healthy. Maybe Xiaomi.eu made it a bit more worthwhile as I installed it the very day the phone was delivered via AE.

By 2023 I'll review my needs as to whether to upgrade or not.. Definitely by then, Xiaomi will have come up with a much more sophisticated device.. Probably Redmi note 15 running on Miui 19grin .. But una see this RN5 Ai in particular, I'm not giving it out to anyone when I'm ready to upgrade; it is going straight to my private museum with Xiaomi.eu installed init! No jokes o grin
