Scammed Investors Want Davido, Rema, Other Celebrities Arrested For Endorsing Fraudulent Ponzi Scheme, RackSterli

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgMCQDsD-78

Nigerians have called on security operatives to arrest some celebrities, including David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, and Williams Uchemba for endorsing and advertising a Ponzi scheme company, RackSterli, which has allegedly defrauded many people.

The celebrities had been seen in viral videos promoting the platform, prompting people to invest in it.

“I wanna introduce you guys to one of the biggest investment platforms in Nigeria. There are a lot of opportunities over there… It has been very, very reliable for the past six months. We’ve had great recommendations,” Davido said in one of the videos seen by SaharaReporters.

The Ponzi-like initiative, owned by one Chidi, popularly known as Blackgold, offers its subscribers different packages, including Standard, Diamond, Premium, Ruby, Platinum, Emerald, Gold up to Topaz. They are 11 in separate packages.

A check by SaharaReporters on www.racksterli.org on Saturday showed the RackSterli’s website has crashed, leaving investors due for payment stranded.

Some subscribers who invested in the scheme without getting returns since last year are lambasting the celebrities for promoting it.

“All the celebrities that endorsed the scheme should be arrested too. Davido, Williams Uchemba supported the brand and they got us into this. Now the so-called Racksteri investment ran away with our money after buying himself a Brand New G. Wagon days after his accident,” Akintunde Mayowa Johnson told SaharaReporters.

This here is the difference between Wizkid and Davido

It's also the difference between Nairaland and other news outlets (especially Linda Ikeji blog)

The latter go do anything for money even advertise ponzi schemes, while the former always do their due diligence when it comes to advertising.

OTI Micheal is one of the smartest scammers I’ve ever seen in my life. This is not your regular one-time scammer, he’s well vast with human psychology as well as sweet-talking Nigerians. You won't believe he's just 26.

This guy floods the net with celebrity rooting for Racksterli, he also advertises on DSTV. These made greedy Nigerians lose guard and fall for him. He initially introduced small packages and then upgraded to 1M,10M packages.

When the first platform crashed, this guy lied that he had x3 of investors' money and can refund. Over 300k investor with billions of naira. He came back and introduced version 2.0 of the Racksterli platform.

Mumu people troops in and invested again. Despite still owing them money from the first platform. He now introduced double code (where investors from the old platform will invest in the new platform and get x2 of their ROI). Of course, some mumu still fall for it and reinvested it. Others who didn’t reinvest didn’t get refunds.

Now he’s lying that people reported his account and his accounts have been blocked. So no money to refund or even pay new investors. Now the system is on break for three months. People committing suicides here and there due to gbese and depression.

Na only foool go invest money for something cause of musician endorsement
undecided
Nigerians run into ponzi cause of greed and park their brain one side while doing so.

When the scheme collapses they suddenly start using their brain and looking for who to hold.
Stupid
E.g MBA thread back then. If you dare voice concerns you will get 20 mentions in 10 mins with people posting alerts and shouting the Eagle has landed undecided
Or insulting you for being poor and not "investing "

Today the moniker promoting it back then in nairaland have all deactivated and they are running from one lawyer to another while their savior maxwell sips pina colada abroad

Funny enough a lot of them still think cbn closed their ponzi

A wise man doesn't wait till something happens to him before he learns.

Rather, he learns from the mistakes of others.

Nigerians are just special.

1. They don't learn from the mistake of others

2. If it happens to them, they still don't learn from their mistakes

3. If their mistake comes up again, they'll still fall for it again.

Once beaten, twice shy.

Nigerians needs to be beaten like 1, 428 times before they learn
