flokii:Many tribes in Nigeria kinda have resentment and envy for the Yoruba. You will notice in their comments whenever there is uncertainty in issue like this concerning Yoruba. I was surprised to see such comments during the Burnaboy Grammy award win period. |

https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2021/06/26/nigerian-princess-adejinmi-becomes-first-black-woman-to-be-elected-mayor-in-ireland/ The above link should clear the air as to her origin,She's clearly from Delta State as per the report and a daughter of a traditional ruler in Agbor kingdom but ofcourse married to a Yoruba man so She's Deltan by birth,Yorubas by marriage and Nigerian by Nationlity, everyone can lay claim to her, lets just celebrate her, atleast we got a break from bad news. Congratulations Ma'am. Mk ur generations proud. It appears it is easier for any Nigerian to migrate to {e.g.} Canada/USA & later become a Prime Minister/President Than for a Nigerian to become {e.g. Local Govt Chairman} of a place one is said not be indigenous to. Isn't better we all LEAVE in peace that live in PIECES with nepotism, bigotry, prejudice, hatred & animosity & injustice... |

Ibadanpikin:You sound like a toddler. Beyond holding the proper academic title, universities in many countries also give notable artists, athletes and foreign dignitaries the title honorary professor, even if these persons do not have the academic qualifications typically necessary for professorship and they do not take up professorial duties. That is why she is still lesser than some Nigerian women Profs. She can upgrade herself by making researches or lecturing if she is good in her field.Nothing stops her doing this if she really wants to. |

Cosbyrich:U just sound like an educated illiterate, professorship is d highest title for classroom teacher, same way chief consultant is for a medical doctor.Someone must'nt be a professor b4 attaining higher posts e.g Buhari,Dangote,Messi,Trump etc.Ngozi is an academic doctor not honourary doctor.Think b4 you type. |

Cosbyrich:Professorship can not be awarded to any other profession, apart teaching only a class room teacher can become a prof.Honourary doctorate degree is what that can be awarded to other professionals. How many professors occupy top positions in the world.Your parent wasted their money sending u to school. |
