Good morning, please I applied for B2 visa, already filled the form Ds_160 about a month ago.

But I was told by my guide that date for interview is full till probably next year. He said date has been scheduled. But I read it online that someone will be called for the interview after maximum 6 weeks at the embassy.

Please who has any idea about it. Please

Thanks.. I am hoping to cross over to academics.

You don't need any publication. In my view, you have a stellar resume (as long as you ace the GMAT). 10 years of experience as a qualified accountant is more than most applicants to your program can bring to the table. As part of your application, I would write a detailed statement of purpose, describing your work experience (any key highlights, certifications, memberships, any work outside Nigeria), and why the Ph.D. is important in your career progression. Many Ph.D. programs are looking for applicants with the types of practical skills you bring, not so much how many publications you have. You'll be writing plenty of that once you start your Ph.D. program.

So basically you don't want to go to school, you're simply shopping around to see what gets you a visa.
Thanks but I Guess I need to make some clarification. My later admission came with a $4k tuition scholarship after attending my 1st interview, also the CIP code descriptions/content of Applied statistics is distinctively different from the
Business analytics CIP code.
I have a prior masters in accounting and financial mgt and this course also belongs to same CIP code in my first school.
Now, the actual reason why I'm considering using this new course is because I don't know maybe my first refusal was due to the fact that accounting and financial mgt belongs to same CIP code as business analytics.
Please note i applied since February ending and only got the admission last Thursday also, both courses will bring me same career outcomes.and yes I'm a genuine student

Quick question please
Does one emergency application works for 2 appointments?

I recently applied for visa interview and didn't see any option to apply for emergency appointment. My present appointment is showing Emergency instead. My last interview was May 4th, and its was emergency.

Was the name course on your I-20 the same as your course of study. And if different, what did you fill in your I-20.

My I-20 says *Systems science and Theory* while my course of study is Sustainable Energy. I under that there is a sevis code.

On my interview date, can I say *I am going for my master's degree in systems science and theory with a concentration in Sustainable Energy at bleep university * or I should just say Sustainable Energy with adding the Systems science and theory?

Lastly, on my DS160 I wrote *MS Systems science and theory - Sustainable Energy * as my course of study because that was how it appears on my admission letter too.

My I-20 does not carry the original name of my course. I had to input it as it appeared on my I-20 into my DS-160. Should I have stated the main name of the course on the DS-160 or stick to what's on my I-20?

Edit the dates accordingly

I am an F-1 visa applicant with a current appointment date of January 32rd 2022.

I was accepted into a Fall 2021 academic program. The start date on my I-20 is August 92 2021. However, I will need to be in school earlier before then as there will be an orientation programme for graduate students.

I require an earlier appointment that would allow me to resume my academic program in the United States on time.

Kindly find my Form I-20 and evidence of SEVIS fee payment attached.

Regards.
