You lack knowledge in the first instance but it's obvious you are anchored in ignorance. You think you can see but you don't know your blind.

I am unadulterated and undiluted from the Uhrobo tribe in Delta state. So your first crass allegation of " ipob terrorist " shows your myopic sense of reasoning and your limited education.

It would not have taken you that much to go through my past posts to have some idea of where I am coming from and where I have been. Ignorance is bliss, you did not do that.

To the man who knows nothing but thinks he knows everything, when wise men talk, in his stupidity he thinks it's foolishness.

Nuff Said.

Urhobo ethnic not tribe, we re in the 21st century.
The word tribe is only preserved for African by the racist west, go to rural Europe, u won't see the West call them tribe when talking about them.
To the Average westerners when mention tribe, all they think about is uncivilized people wearing leaves and chasing lion.
Pls don't let us join them in putting our people down.

Ethiopia declares ceasefire after its massive defeat and subsequent retreat from Tigray. The TPLF has so far not shown any interest in accepting a ceasefire.

They lost a battle. So they surrendered. The Ethiopian central government overestimated their military strength.

War no be child's play.

The party in charge of Tigray region feel the Federal Government dey do pass them power, this is what lead to the war.

If they can't defeat a regional military, how can they defeat the strongest military I'm Africa, Egypt?

imagine if nigeria did this? and we should, this will make these companies wake up and remove inciting posts that could tear Nigeria apart. There needs to be regulation of social media platforms in the country, especially foreign ones. This doesn't impede freedom of speech.

Man, people really underrates Nigerian military capabilities, fighting unconventional warfare.
Flying junky alpha jets, not f 16 or rafale or su-35 or f 35 to give deadly terrorists groups bloody noses and turning them into mere criminals.
Just imagine what more we could do if we had all these advance weapons.
I know there is a lot of things we need to improve, but we have made a giant stride in this war.
The war has thought us a lot of things, and we will keep improving.

Yes, Egypt is the strongest military in Africa on paper, and base on how powerful the Egyptian military is on paper, it should be able to crush the Ethiopian military but reality is often disappointing, this is why a regional army is holding is grounds against the central government army in Ethiopia, this s why UGM could held their own against the Nigerian army and police.

If we are to go by the books, ISWAP, bandits, armed Fulani heardsmen and Boko Haram should not be operating on Nigerian soil at all, not to talk of controlling some areas, but like I said before, reality is often disappointing.

A civil war is different from fighting an insurgency, this is one thing you must know. All what the USA have learn fighting the taliban's won't help them if they go to war with the EU, Russia China or Japan.

lol, UGM holding their own? you mean criminals who attack and then run? that obviously showed weakness on their part. if you truly think you are more powerful than your enemy, then why hide?
i think mistake Ethiopia made was not using adequate air power, this is critical. soften those guys up before sending ground troops.

Any day Nigeria goes back to a regional government like it was practised in the first republic, it will be the beginning of the end of Nigeria, that's why a lot of Nigerian politicians will be against such arrangement grin

THE Gbo Kabari Ogoni, an elite organisation of Ogoni elders in Rivers State, has raised the alarm over the invasion of Ogoni communities by armed herdsmen and their forceful occupation of farmlands with their livestock.

‘Gbo Kabari Ogoni’, which means Ogoni Elders Forum, in a statement released in Port Harcourt on Monday, titled, ‘Before we are killed again’ by its Chairman, Chief Monday Abueh, and Chairman Secretary, Desmond Nbete.

The Ogoni elders said for several weeks, the armed herdsmen had chased farmers and occupied vast areas of farmlands under effective cultivation across five communities of Khana and Eleme local government areas of the state.

The statement added that after occupying the farmlands, they graze cows on crops in the affected communities without minding, saying the action was a threat to peace and security of the area, as well as undermine the livelihood of the people and their existence.

The statement reads, “For the past weeks, armed Fulani herdsmen have occupied vast areas of farmlands under effective cultivation in the Ogoni communities of Baa Luekun, Kpaa, Seme Luekun and Dae in Khana Local Government Area and Eteo in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The invaders, armed with sophisticated weapons, especially the dreaded AK-47, some of which are strapped to their cows, have driven away farmers from their farmlands, forcibly occupied the farmlands and are grazing their cows on cultivated crops.

“We are particularly concerned by the fact that when resisted or confronted by community leaders and representatives of our people, they have threatened mayhem and even boasted that the powers-that-be and the security agencies are aware of their presence, and would decisively deal with our people if further confronted."

The only language Fulanis understand is violence. Instead of this one's to arm their youths, and unleash them on the herdsmen and their cows, you're all busy releasing a press statement... Issokay grin

There is difference between conventional warfare and asymmetric warfare.
What the US fought in Afghanistan is asymmetric warfare and that is the most difficult warfare you will ever have, and that's what Nigerian has been fighting since, it takes decades to end.
Nigerian military are trained for conventional warfare, so it will be easier for them to fight an invading enemy, not a hiding enemy.
US will crush any country in a conventional war.
What I mean about what we have learned in this Boko Haram war, is that it is helping in shaping Nigerian military to be an all round fighting force, I hope you get my points?

USA was not fighting on their territory, a terrorist organization dare not go the violent way in the USA, it won't last up to a day. The Nigerian army have been fighting terrorists in the North East for more than 10 years on Nigeria soil.

Yes, US might be able to crush any country in a conventional war, but they might only win the battles, but might never win the war.

In fact, make I tell myself the truth, the Nigerian army have not been learning anything in this fight against insurgency. This is why ISWAP is still confident enough to take the way to the army.

A smart country will crush a terrorist group before they are confidence enough to think of putting up a fight.

If the Ghanaian FG was giving excuse for Fulanis herdsmen in Ghana, maybe their will be killings in different part of Ghana by now. They totally crushed them and kicked them out of Ghana.

The type of killing spree the Fulani heardsmen have been unleashing in Nigeria, they dare not try it in Benin republic. Dem dey round them up and butcher them immediately.

We play politics with everything too much in Nigeria. It won’t take the federal government one week to mop up all the Fulani bastard from our forest. Look at the carnage happening every time in Benue and there is an airforce base in Makurdi.
Don’t over hype Ghana, they’re praying right now for the terrorist not to invade their country through Burkina Faso.

I agree with most of what you've said except the boldened. The army is slow to learning but they've learnt a lot over the years, they still need to learn more. The terrorists are also learning and learn and adapt very fast. The difference is in the structure of the two organizations. The military is a very rigid organization, the terrorists are very fluid and that is how it is all over the world with a little variation in degree of fluidity or rigidity.

Going by your analogy, the Taliban should by now not have confidence to attack US and Afghan military, same with all other armed groups, from ISWAP to alqaeda and all their branches all over the world.

We need to study the insurgency in Sinai to understand the reality of what is happening in Nigeria.

N.A have been transforming since beginning of insurgency.... U don't apply untested battle tactics, that may have great consequences..
U apply the ones that have better tendency of succeeding, the tactics that are viable or practical and contingencies... War ain't try and error where u just keep trying anything new ooo

Lol you still don't get it, we are not fighting conventional war with Boko Haram and ISWAP, yet we have weakened they capabilities
Do you know how many countries it took to weaken ISIS in Syria? After many years? You no nothing about asymmetric warfare.
So why are the US not stopping the mass shootings and killings from gunmen in US?

I'm not overhyping Ghana. Nah just fact I state. Fulanis herdsmen is about to make us insufficient in food production. When you ask people in market why foodstuffs are so expensive, they will tell you herdsmen they destroy farm.

I don't think there has ever been a government where the price of garri is almost competing with the price of rice in Nigeria. Garri wey people dey see as poor man food before shocked

There are islamic fanatics in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran etc but their government dey manage internal security well.

For years, it was as if it was ghosts that was sponsoring Boko Haram operations in Nigeria, it was after a court in the UAE sentence some Nigerians to jail for sponsoring Boko Haram activities in Nigeria that the Nigerian government now realised it was not ghost that was sponsoring Boko Haram grin

If there is any civil war again in Nigeria, this military will crumble.
