Please guys advise

I need savings scheme that would be profitable to me
Hopefully to save deposit for a house

Been here 7months now
Got really poor balance in my account

I am very comfort minded
Probably that made me get some items that i needed
New devices, empty apartment which i had to furnish (gotten almost all i need in it now)
Rent and house bills about 600monthly

Leaving me with 1000 more from my monthly pay.

I can say i have gained my “balance” at the minute

No thanks to passport renewal that blew about 400 quids from me.(application, transport and air bnb to London and postal code fee)

Honestly if I continue this way, may not have much to show even 5 years after. Im single by the way

Kindly help with some financial advise.

Are you aware of BOE interest rates? ...... cheesy

Look towards the stock market (Ayam not a financial adviser)........ grin

Money invested can disappear or multiply, like iya ibeji.......... cheesy

If you are able to put side £1000 after monthly out goings then you are doing very well.

If you are sure you need the money for mortgage, then go for Lifetime ISA. You can save up to £4000 every tax year and get up to £1000 top up from the government. The only constraints is that you will be charged 25%of the amount withdrawn, if you use the money for something else apart from mortgage or for retirement. In a way, it will make you to be intentional about saving for mortgage.

Please read more about LISA before signing up for it.

Folks, I’m sounding like a broken record here but please let me ask this – hope you are keeping abreast with what’s happening around you and seeking ACTIVE means of diversifying your assets (barterable commodities)? It is no longer hidden that national governments (actually the central banks and the big banks) have gone mad. What does this mean (see below pic)?

When we saw governments toying with the idea of mandating vaccination for the public, we thought it was a joke but now this? Over the weekend they banned direct deposits into Binance (not surprising) and now economic intrusion?

We definitely are heading into a China/North Korea scenario were soon it will be the government telling us what to do, what to buy, when to sleep and practically granting permission for our living. Shine you eyes!

Na from clapping dem take dey enter dance floor.

No matter how much they try to push and promote it, crypto currency will always be seen as a sort of rogue currency. The future many see of crypto becoming the official legal tender will never be, and it doesn't help that it's now the choice mode of paying for ransomware merchants.
A government must have control, crypto currency is a very unwieldy animal.

Does anyone have any experience with travel from UK to Naija recently? I mean within the past 1 month.?

Can B.A allow me board to Nigeria when I present the NHS COVID-19 test?

No. You have to use one of the approved private providers. BA would have sent you a gov.uk link where you can find the approved list.

@chukwuka16, I have been following all your posts and found them to be intellectually sound and you only confirmed my thought after knowing you are an academic. Let me buttress your arguments, it is pertinent that people come up with a deliberate and organized effort to halt this drive towards authoritarianism cum totalitarianism. But trust my people, any attempt to foresee and predict the current events is termed "conspiracy theory". The few discerning minds asking questions and are wary of where the world is heading with respect to structure and control are continuously gagged. In spite of these group questioning the motives of governments to protect others, they are ingloriously tagged " conspiracy theorists".

Events unfolding since the beginning of the virus outbreak has disturbed my imagination and highly unfathomable. As we continue to watch, it is germane that we are all prepared. While the chinazation of the west is becoming apparent, its northkoreanism is imminent. Fingers crossed.

May we survive.

Bro i have to disagree with you on this especially on the issue of cryptocurrency, I'm actually surprised that govt is acting late regarding the traceability of crypto payment as criminals have taken advantage of that. Crypto should not be banned as Nigerian govt and other countries have done.

Vaccination should be compulsory because one or group of people's reckless behaviour will affect majority of the people. NHS will pick up the pieces at the end and we all pay for it.

I believe you need to register your card first (if you haven’t done so) before you can use it on the site. At least, that’s how I did mine. You’ll submit the card details with proof of id, then you’ll get an email like the one below when the card has been approved for usage.

P.S I used my debit card. The website also classifies/addresses all cards as credit cards from my experience.

Hi Mimzy, so my wife got a reply that the card has been approved. But she still tried the card and after clicking “make payment”. The window disappears and goes back to the “entering of card details” page again. She has tried different web browsers, but still same issue. She has also sent mails to complain about the experience twice but still no response. Do you have any idea on how to go about this.

Anyone had this kind of experience?
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by missjekyll: 1:44pm On Jul 02, 2021
I wish to disagree. Nothing about health should be forced.
If an individual does not wish to be vaccinated, all we can do is to continue educating to show the superiority of our argument.

Medicine went down a very dark road during the 1940s. Nobody wants that today.

So to everyone who is hesitant, I want to reassure you that nobody is going to force you ever. You will ,after considering all the sides, get vaccinated.

It should be forced as long as the virus has no cure and can be passed from person to person. Those who are anti mask and vaccines are danger to others
