The don't is too much. Eg.Never use soap or sponge on carbon steel. That's impossible na
And season from time to time.
But we have non stick wok( doesn't last like carbon steel or stainless)
I have been using granite wok for long but I mistakenly used iron sponge on it so I just replaced it with a 7-ply stainless steel wok. The more you use wok, the more non stick it becomes.
I use wok more than pots. Simply love it.

I once watched a tutorial on how to season a new wok....the steps no be here o.

You oil, heat, clean, oil, heat, clean... until the pan achieves the burnt look.
It seemed tedious.

How can you cook and not wash except with hot water. The smell will be there. Then you cook with it again. And as it keeps darkening, it keeps getting better. Shuuuu
