Sorry I have no respect for anybody supporting that mad man Kanu. This man that does not care if Igbo policemen are killed as long as he wants policemen dead. This man that does not care if Igbos are slaughtered in the North in retaliation as long as he wants Biafra. That man is not sane. If you are educated and you follow him, your hate has overtaken your reasoning. Even Uwazurike who championed the Biafra cause since 2000 has not been this callous with words or authority.
Are you surprised ? Nnamdi kanu is mentally deranged and mentally unstable.

Kanu is insane and a psychopath.

The only person who may understand MNK's frustration is whoever lives in a multiracial community and see how blacks always rank lowest in all aspects of progressive human endeavours. If in doubt, name one progressive black nation anywhere in the world. It is all about war, intimidation, poverty and other vices. This is why a C student in Africa can become an A student in developed countries because they don't stifle growth. We are only good as a dreamkiller. His shock therapy did wake some people from slumber. I am surprised he lasted this long. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Tupac Shakur, etc who dared speak up against oppression of the blacks ended up being killed by blacks. Go figure!

I didn't subscribe to his choice of words but I can understand.

RENO OMOKRI YOU ARE SOUNDING WANTING TO BE SEEN TO BE POLITICALLY CORRECT.

IT IS NOT A CRIME TO FIGHT FOR A SEPARATED NIGERIA.

UNITY IS NOT BY FORCE.

I am beginning to think Reno Omokri want to sound POLITICALLY CORRECT before the public.

It is a fact that Nnamdi Kanu took caution carelessly and he had not find it necessary to develop a sound administration unit within IPOB to be advising him.

But my experience with Mr. Kanu’s supporters made me have a rethink. With the way they treat him as though he is infallible, could it not be more likely that there was nobody within the organisation bold enough to advise Mr. Kanu not to travel to Kenya, because to do so, or to counter him in any way, would have brought upon such a person weighty consequences.

On further introspection, I began to cast my mind to statements Nnamdi Kanu had made in his many broadcasts which I only watched just yesterday.

How did I miss these broadcasts? Have I been too focused on Buhari to the extent that I was blindsided? Is this the fellow I have been defending?

This is the beginning of your regrets Pastor man. When an slowpoke is controlling your mind and you even admitted not knowing what the man stand for and yet follow and defend him. Independent thinking is reserved for human beings and you just showed that you are not capable of responding or thinking.
When hatred for Buhari and narrow focused mind consume you to the level that you no longer a human being, you get Omokri and you will still have people listening, reading his missives and following up. Nigeria truly is their own worst enemy.

MNK is the greatest Igbo man of the century for Igbo youths and adults. If you want to try his popularity, bring out another great Igbo man in Igboland and paired them for election. Those who just started listening to him are still in creche ,those who started since 2009 are all professors in history and knowledge. Ask yourself, why are Igbo, republicans and egalitarians in nature follow MNK? Why do they contribute money inspite of corruption allegations some levelled against him? and Igbo love money and are misers as some people think. Why do people take bullets for him? Answers will not enter here but the summary is that Igbo want to be on their own and MNK has the temperament to achieve that and alot of detractors are jealous of his popularity. His followers know his shortcomings and are tolerating him knowing that when the chips are down, republican nature of Igbo will take it's place of pride and MNK knows it, that's why he has repeatedly said it that he would retire once Biafra is gotten. Igbo society has no room for one jagaban but when there's a threat to Igbo, a leader will emerge by consensus.

One common thing Kanu's critics have is that they all know how to pick faults but cannot outline any feasible approach for accomplishing the objective. Talk is cheap. It's very easy to criticize but very difficult to lead....at least the APC has taught us that.

However, I have to commend Beancounter93 for his view, which is a sensible, long-term strategy for breaking out of a country. His viewpoint mirrors the most rational secession plan I have ever read on Nairaland. As for the rest, they just behave like the APC... criticize with obviously empty medulla oblongata.
At least it is now obvious that Nnamdi Kanu lacks the intelligence to lead the struggle for Biafra cessation. With the manner he freely handed himself over to the Nigerian government by traveling to a country notorious for extradition of fugitives , we can now all see how "smart" your messiah is.

Reno Omokri need to understand that not all Igbos support Nnamdi Kanu and his approach towards freedom fighting. I am Igbo but I saw through Nnamdi Kanu's tactlessness in his quest for Biafra long ago.

If he was smart enough, he wouldn't have started his radio Biafra broadcasts by insulting other regions of Nigeria and creating enmity for himself and the general Igbos among the rest of Nigerians.

A smart freedom fighter would not order the release of criminals from prisons and police stations in the same region he claims to fight for.

The joke is on anybody who didn't see through the foolishness of Mr Nnamdi Kanu.

Kanu is not the Messiah some Igbo people think he is, period.
Me I think he’s been used by the same government that he’s claiming to antagonize.

Nnamdi Kanu is successfully working against the Igbos, it’s sad many people have failed to see that.

We believe all Christian r Christlike how will you differentiate Yoruba Pastors n Igbo pastors..

Tribalism had eating him to deep...

He speaks most time out of hate n strife, such one is not worthy of leader, neither merit our empathy

There are three types Igbo, there is Igbo, there is Northern Igbo and there is Lagos Igbo, know which one you are, Nnamdi Kanu might not put so much into people control, ask yourself why they are worried, so they can sell out to Nigeria government.
About Nnamdi Kanu approach of Igbo political and traditional leaders, i will do more than him if given the chance, i will not just insult them but will go after them. The Igbo tribe have suffered both in the hands of the North and the so called Igbo leaders. If anybody thinks he can lead NdiIgbo more than Nnamdi Kanu, he should step forword, start something and we will support him.

Nnamdi KANU cannot succeed because he planned coup against the initial founder of Ipob Emeka Emekesiri a well known respected lawyer. Nnamdi KANU was his common radio operator and he used that as a medium to overthrown Emekesiri. Reno, you are right to disown him and the earlier the better.

I don't like Reno quite alright but the part in bold is perfectly true. Examples abound everywhere on Nairaland. Anybody with an opinion that doesn't go down well with Igbos is immediately tagged Afonja. So many South south people have tried to voice out their opinion on Biafra and other topical issues but they get labelled Afonja. That Nnamdi Kanu even planned to conscript people as far as Benue state into his Biafra without consulting them says a lot about his person.

Truth be told, Biafra as being envisaged by Kanu will just be a smaller version of Nigeria. It will descend into a civil war like south Sudan in less than two years with folks like Kanu in charge. Personally, I wont want to be a minority in such a country.

What annoys me most is that they do this to their fellow Igbos who don't totally agree with them. They don't like disagreement, they are not very different from BMC and BokoHaram!

And the wake up call would come from a man who called black people names?

Okay.

I don't support the tribalistic judgements by MNK and all the church brouhaha he is spitting, one thing I admire so much about him is his bravery. I don't align with most of his thoughts, but you see, let's call a spade a spade. It's not even about MNK, me personally, I've always told anyone around me, blacks and whites are not the same in intelligence.

There is no black nation that is developed, all the technology, medicine, and allwhatnot strides are championed by the whites. They now offering opportunity for anyone to travel to space, we are here struggling to refine crude oil, building tooth pick industry, and what have you...

It's not about self-esteem, it's about telling the truth.

Yes, because most African countries run their economy on one principle...earn revenue from raw materials whose prices we don't control.

The problem is, when the revenue crashes, that's when we run into trouble, and start taking loans and such to stay afloat...because the prices of what we sell are darn too volatile.

A main reason I don't like APC or many African parties and leaders...most of them can't think out of the box. We all want to, at the end of the day , sell , for example (ghana) cocoa to the West for 2 billion, and some western company will use part of that cocoa to make products worth 17 billion...

The minute we become industrial, we would have jobs galore.

Oga, this is not APC thing. All the leaders who ever ruled this country since 1999 have failed. This is why things will not change because with this your thinking, we keep supporting who we like and not who will bring the change we need.

It's time to grow above Religion, Ethnic and party lines.

make una wake up day don break.

Nnamdi Kanu was a megalomaniac. It is exactly what has led to this downfall. In a way, I am happy he paid the price for foolish carelessness with his personal safety so that future "leaders" of the struggle will not be so careless.

How could he be so careless to take himself to a country like Kenya? He could very well have also gone to Togo, Niger, Chad, or Uganda! It is so sad that people had so much hope in him to address the decades of injustice they suffered. Anyhow, he was never a true leader in the true sense of it. he was a good orator but lacked the strategic reasoning and wisdom required to defeat a masterful cunning python like the Fulani caliphate.
