It's a local delicacy on its own. Made from cooking oil bean and slicing it in bits like abacha

This was a staple meal for most of us that grew up in the ghetto street of Lagos. While in secondary school, my favorite location was Mama Amudo's pot; hers was cheaper and more home tasting than the others. At night, I secretly patronize Iya Taju, my father must not catch you eating out. Iya Taju stew was spicy �..e day burst brain mehn . May her soul rest in peace.

Cheers to recreated memories of rice, beans and hot stew. Kindly bring your clean spoon lets fellowship in good food

I gave up on black eyed beans long ago. Saw one akara recipe on YouTube and decided to try it out

Gosh, it's so sweet.
Try that out and tell us the outcome.
Will post the recipe.
