Utter rubbish! A former president treated like this, and to be jailed for 15 months because of contempt of court? It's unbelievable! Yes, no one is above the law, but this should not have degenerated into this. |

TMKsouth: Even in Nigeria. The most important part of it is that, after that, he becomes an ex convict. There are many disadvantages that will follow that especially as a politician. |

Psoul: It seems he'll still enjoy his benefits after this as it is a lesser charge of contempt of court. It's after he's convicted for corruption in the other trials that he'll lose everything. 1 Like |

jaxxy: And the sad part is that he's not going to prison because he's guilty of any corruption, but for refusing to entertain a biased commission that is clearly empowered to attack anyone who refuses to be enslaved or turn puppet. The West has been gunning for him for a longtime because of the policies he championed in South Africa, and Africa at large. And most importantly because he refused to sell State owned enterprises to the 1% wealthy thugs, even when these entities were being systematically being sabotaged and destroyed by fellow comrades(sell outs) and their handlers. 1 Like

Onepeople: Progress? More like reversing the gains of democracy. If you go against the Ramaphosa faction in South Africa, you either die ,get arrested or your scandals (true and fabricated ) exposed . Almost all media houses report the same thing word for word ,meaning they come from the same source . No one talks bad about Ramaphosa and his gang and goes free, they're setting a dangerous precedent. So ,no South Africa is no different from Nigeria in this regard. 1 Like |

CryptoClub2018: South Africa of Ramaphosa has no independent institutions, it's all a lie repeated by the West to make their puppet look competent. The judiciary and the media are factional and very corrupt. Nigeria and South Africa are very much alike in this regard, the only difference is that the South African government knows how to properly package itself as some sort of a model for other African states . And they buy it . 1 Like |
