Lol sis I just checked again and I was able to send messages just some agents require your no is verified before sending them a text....thanks very much just it might be hard to know if it's a scam while not in the uk and I think it's best we secure one before arriving in the uk to avoid being homeless Irenenwaka: |

monchat:It depends on the tenants tenancy agreement….. most agreement would state *tenants can sublet after a given time with a written consent of the landlord* So my advice is if your hubby is subletting , he should submit the agreement he obtained from the tenant and he should request the tenant to obtain a written consent from the landlord( to be submitted as wel) |

Irenenwaka:Ok. Thank you. So with all these documents one can use it for meeting spousa visa requirements? |
| Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Nobody: 2:36am On Jul 14, 2021 |
monchat:Yes I believe so… to add some more spice you can just get the landlord(the owner of the property) to write a letter acknowledging and confirming all existing tenants of his property. This should be very fine. |

Vicas2000 - Give what is caeser's, unto caeser........ And what is of UKBA to UKBA......... ![]() What do you think your strongly worded letter would do?..... It would simply give them an impression, you have something to hide....... Let's assume you want to start seeking legal redress...... Each letter a lawyer writes, would cost you about £110.00 (just the beginning of charges)..... When I applied for my children's pp, it was only my first daughters, that was straightforward..... For the other 2, rules changed in between and they asked for slightly more documents........ I gave to UKBA, what was UKBA's .......... ![]() |

monchat:No landlord in the UK, would grant permission to another tenant, to sublet his/her property, to another tenant......... Using this HMO, sublet by a legal tenant, to another tenant (most likely an illegal arrangement)..... You would also be required to conduct a Property inspection report....... Why can't your hubby rent his own property, the legal and proper way........ The essence of the accommodation element, during the spousal application, is to ascertain that both parties would not be rendered homeless and to meet the criteria........ The spousal visa is too expensive, to start attempting cutting corners (you would not receive a refund for failed applications)......... |

Irenenwaka:That plan will work if he plans well as just like many foreign students who arrived here without a place to stay. You don’t just book one appointment, you book at least 3 and use your time in the hotel to view them. Far better than paying for an accommodation you haven’t viewed or don’t even know if that accommodation exists at all. It will be a mistake to pay deposit for an accommodation even before you arrive in the UK. |

Lexusgs430:Sorry lexus i have some questions: What property inspection report will the applicant for spouse visa be made to conduct? Also no landlord will grant permission for subletting? Landlords do not hold back consent you know expect they sense a danger/activity that could impact the property or its dwellers negatively. For example I remember when i used to rent from ahency. Before taking on a property i declared my intentions to sublet the second room and the agency accepted my request and clearly stated it should be subletted to just one person as there is a maximum number of dwellers for a property. With all these shared please Can you share a link where the uk law terms subletting as illegal? I am really curious. Also if the applicant stays in a massive shared house, then it will be a big guess that the landlord has a HMO license. At the time when I applied for my spouse visa, my hubby nd i werent even renting yet. We were staying with family. Neither of our names were on the agreement, but we submitted the tenancy agreement like that from the actual tenants. We wrote a letter truthfully explaining our living condition and how we were expecting to move to a place of ours as soon as we settle as newly wedded. We also got a letter from the landlord confirming his awareness about our presence in the property. Lexus i dont know if any of these things i said does make a difference My whole point is i don’t think the applicant is in a difficult or complicated position really But hey as you rightly said the cost for a spouse visa is very high as such application should be done meticulously. The applicant can decide to take up your suggestions to be on the safest side. Also dear applicant it wouldn’t be a very bad idea to voice out your concerns to a lawyer who does free consultation (i hope the applicant reads this) |

Irenenwaka:I would read and respond later........ Subletting from a flat/house, is different from subletting from an HMO....... Think of the vetting the legal tenant, had to undertake to grab those keys........ The landlord would now give that legal tenant, the full responsibility, to sublet to another unvetted tenant?..... ![]() Nah my own I talk o, make i shut up, before i get accused of '' showing off ''.......... ![]() |

Irenenwaka:I find that difficult to believe, an agent allows you to sublet a rented accommodation? |

I actually my fiance back in naija ,but on getting here and working In a mental health hospital I see how men get destroyed here when they divorce .I am definitely getting a prenup ,I am not an age where i can afford to lose everything I 've worked for to start again. The reality is a prenup can protect both husband and wife from taking each others assets when they break up and it's not necessarily the husband alone that can lose property ,I will also have the wife sign a prenup against me so it's balanced ,if anything happens I don't want her money.Concerning oyinbo girls mehn ,I really hate this place ,I ve not even hooked up with any white lady since I got here ,u have to be walking on eggshells so it doesn't turn to harassment. You go to gym everybody just does their thing ,no hello no hi .Mehn I am definitely establishing connections in naija and be going there regularly for refreshment with fresh blood .. |

Are there any jobs one can do from naija that one doesn't need to be here? The bills and tax are just too much .Naija has its problems but there is a lot of freedom and if you earn in pounds you will live like a king . |

They won't tell you that..Does this apply to working with a 12 month contract with a private healthcare agency e.g NES healthcare |
