And those ones inside estate that will need to call security at the gate.
You drive all the way to the gate and call them.
Me: I’m at the entrance gate
R: what’s your name so I can call them
M: pause for seconds as if I’m thinking ( how can you ask me when it’s boldly written on your app) I don’t mind before until I met one sweet girl.

R: hello Mr *****
M: Hi
R: I already called gate and pls when u get there tell them your name showing on the app.
Thank you I’m waiting.
I didn’t swipe arrive till I got to her block, but others with what’s your name
immediately I get to get ARRIVED niii.
If you like waste your time before calling, I have nothing to loose.
Lol, I usually tell people like that to tell them the name on the app.

But I think that question is a harmless one that implies, "where is your location now, in relation to my pickup location?". I use that question a lot and I don't use it in the derogatory sense. Na just normal question to me

The way most rider use it is very wrong. You just ring somebody and the first thing you say is, "Oga where are you?" No salutation, no any formal opening or introduction of conversation or persons, most of them even if you say "hello good morning/evening" they don't even answer you they just throw the question at you. Its speaks a lot about that person.

1. Like they're running out of airtime and needed to send their message without any time wasting. Broke azz nigagrin

2. Like they're your boss while the uber driver is the slave who was asked to wait for them at a spot and by the time they come out they couldnt find him so out of annoyance they put a call through to ask with annoyance "where are you?!" With a commanding tone.

3. Riders that do this have entitlement mentality. because they think drivers must come pick them at that very instance irrespective of where they're or where they're going to, what gives you the thinking I want to go to Sango, Badore, sangotedo, ijegun, ikotun at the 11th hour of the day?

Though some rider have good etiquette, they ring you tue driver...

Hello Mr. Felicity001, how are today?
Please I just requested a ride to So so so
Do i expect you?

100%... Such a rider already has 5stars even b4 the ride stars.

At least you called somebody the first thing you do is introduce yourself.

Not all those once with "where are you?"

I dey my house. Water enter motor yesterday and e never dry finish.

I was going to even ask those who have more knowledge on cars. Is something fundamentally wrong with our corolla cars? I ask because when I was using Honda, water never enters my car no matter the level of flood.

This is the second time I'm experiencing it with a corolla.

I know I shouldn't jump into what doesn't concern me, but the Map on Bolt is still Google map

Remember when you were registering on the app for the first time, and you were asked to select the map. I'm sure you were told to pick Google, and not Yandex (or others)

Na Google map dey Bolt, sir

No the argument is can one use that thing on the Bolt app for proper navigation? Yes we all know the address is usually extracted from either the bolt or uber or indriver app to the Google map for accuracy and ease but the fact is you can't drive using the Bolt map. Even the uber map is a bit better it tells you where to turn either left or right and even speaks... The only time I don't bother using the GMap when I have a pickup to do on the bolt app is if the distance to PU is on a straight way and short.

But the facts remains you can't navigate your way using any of the ehailing apps for driving.

You need to focus on your craft and build urself up...

And can you pls mention names and time and the customer you recommended.
And for your car, how I wish you could have waited?

And for been upset bro where do you get that from?
I remember I still talk to you as recent as May, so I stopped working for you as far back as January so where is the hate coming from?

I so much respect the woman behind you that I try as much as possible to warn you from making people around you pay for your nonchalant and egoistic behaviour. Now people that don't even worth your time floor you here and you think am ready for kid's play. Bro wish you could see beyond my stuff and try to sit up and grow up to be the bigger man.

I don't hate I just ignore people that I know I will waste my time on.
How can a customer you claim to refer come to me and be telling me YouTube repair? Since YouTube don show am why waste my time to repair. He can as well get the tools and repair the shit by himself.

That brings me to the advice Gazzuzz gave me which I will always cherish bro.

Bro I don't hate you, you are part of my history and I will always respect that. Even if I want to your wife is an Angel and she doesn't deserve some bullshit I read here about her.

Ha! No ooh na elderly woman I carry that yesterday o so I didn't want to make her feel apprehensive or frightened by chatting while driving. The woman is very old and sat in front seat withme... Her highlander was flooded at Unilag back gate on her way to pick one of her grand daughters in Unilag the driver taught he could go thru, unfortunately the car went off in the middle of the pool b4 they knew what was going on water started encrushing into the car that they'd to abandon the car and ran out... The old woman was shivering... I'd to use the car heater to keep her warm.

Yesterday rain was terrible... The trip ended 8k... 1.9 surge.

Hmmm, brethrens... No be small matter. #MyLekkiFloodExperience

So I dey see blood everywhere I dey happy, based on my motivation na. After a few trips, rain started. Then it became very heavy. I picked up a lady from Lekki phase 1 to Milverton Estate. Before I left Lekki, the flood was building, but e never bad. Before I dropped off the lady, another request came in, back to Lekki. Dropped of the guy and he went in. Meanwhile another trip had already come in back to Osapa. The guy I dropped off then called that someone was coming out to meet me. Meanwhile the lady going to Osapa called and I told her to wait.

The guy then came and was like I should carry him. He was not able to request a ride bla bla bla. I told him I already had someone waiting for me. He was like it's just in front, it's not far. I'll just drop him and go and pick the girl. I said 2K to put him off. He was like, ah ah, that's too much. He'll give me 1K.

To cut the long story short, there was traffic. The guy was like should he give me 5H to drop him half way so that I can go pick the girl since she was calling persistently. I agreed. There was traffic at the turning I was supposed to take so he said I could take an alternative route that is shorter.

BIG MISTAKE. I took the route. I thought it was just normal water till it was too late. I couldn't go back. I felt if I kept going it would reduce. Na lie o, it kept getting deeper. It got to a point where I couldn't go back, I just had to forge ahead. Before I knew what was happening, I saw water in my car like Davit said.

Chai! I wan cry. That's how I lost 3K because of 5H. I finally left Lekki. I couldn't take trips because my car was flooded. I couldn't park to clean it because it was raining heavily. I couldn't go offline because there was blood in the sea. Wetin I go come do?
