Hello everyone, please what colleges can one apply to as a Lawyer. Post Graduate Diploma please.
My boyfriend applied to Humber for Alternative Dispute Resolution for January 2022 but he is being waitlisted. And the other opening in Humber is for September, 2022.

Any school recommendations for January 2022 or May 2022 that is open and one can apply to?

The best way to select a related program (or a program that is within the same field but not related to the practices) is using the UG transcript. Most of the courses taken are offered as a program in most institutions.

You should go for something related to Dental programs like Dental Hygienist, Periodontology
and Implantology, Clinical Periodontology, Restorative and Periodontal Practice, Clinical Periodontology, etc.

Another question is, the decision to understand if Health Care Administration Management is a progression and related to your experience, try to connect it to your future prospect or plans coupled with a (clear) demonstration of the study intent. This will help you stay informed of the study correlation and/or progression.

I am not exposed to the know-how stated above. Despite the prospect study is in the health field, the same as your experience, they are in a way not connected/related. It is on you to demonstrate the connection to the understanding of the officer.

If you can demonstrate the relevance of the prospect study to your experience advantage, then it is the right program for you.

Best of Luck

Thanks boss @justmellow. Kindly check your mail at johnpfyfasnow@gmail.com. looking forward to hearing from you

This is not an issue. If you get a passport request, reach out to VFS about the situation. Your biometric is still valid.

Better still, reach out to them before you get passport request. You're not the first in similar situation.

DO we have template for SOP for this kind of application.

Hello Ehiremen2002,

The adult should have justifiable reason/evidence of either due to helping the minor settle or due to medical disability.

n.b. when it concerns the study permit, there is nothing like "accompanying parents."

The application of the adult should be submitted separately with the necessary information of PA attached as document proofs. A letter of explanation should also be included.

Landing Gist

Hello All, It would be a disservice if I did not update the thread on my landing gist so here it is:

Some Background Information
On June 4th, 2021, my original travel date, I was prevented from boarding at the airport due to the Border Official, who the counter officials sent my documents via WhatsApp, declaring that June was too early a date for travel despite my Enrollment Letter showing September 2021 (this was before it being known that the new mandate was for students to arrive within Four (4) weeks of your start date). This was extremely disappointing as I had already made the GAA Hotel Booking along with the Covid Test I had done the previous day.
To circumvent this, I enrolled for my Thesis which I had planned to do when I settle in after arrival in Canada (I had already completed a full year of coursework while in Nigeria). Thesis Registration took about three weeks to process (as most of the professors were in the field for research work) and by the time it was ready, Canada had announced the exemption from Quarantine for those who are fully vaccinated (which I was). I rescheduled my flight and hotel booking for July 7th and 8th and waited till the travel date.

Trip
I arrived at the airport quite early and was asked for my Enrollment Letter (now showing July 5th as the start date), Covid Test Result, ArriveCAN receipt, and my Vaccination Card showing my full vaccination status at the counter. It took an hour for the Border Official to respond to their WhatsApp message and give clearance for me to travel. My flight was an Ethiopian Airlines flight that departed Lagos at 1:40 PM. I was really impressed with the food served on the plane and the access to movies, music and TV shows available on the console in front of me. The book I intended to read was left unread as I switched between watching movies and listening to some newly discovered music.

We landed in Addis Ababa at night (beautiful airport) and I was only asked for my Covid Test Result and hotel booking (if I had). We stayed about two hours or so there before changing aircraft and heading to Dublin for a one-hour refuelling stop. We were given two forms to fill on the plane - a declaration card and one containing contact information to be filled.

We landed in Toronto by 7:30 AM on July 8th and we were separated by vaccination status at immigration (Fully Vaccinated, Half Vaccination and No Vaccination). I was directed to a computer system where I filled another declaration form and was given a printout. The next stop was the border officials who requested for the printout, my Passport, ArriveCAN Receipt and Covid Test results. Upon going through them, he declared me fully exempt from hotel quarantine, the 11 days quarantine and Day 8 testing and placed a green sticker stamp on my passport. The next queue I was directed to was the one for issuing our Study Permits. We stayed on that for over an hour as there were lots of people who had landed that same morning so lots of people to process. Finally, I got to the top of the line and was asked by the Border Official for my Passport, Admission Letter and Tuition Receipt, he asked if I had started classes online which I answered yes to, he asked me to log in to my school account to verify that I had completed classes and to corroborate my answer. When he was satisfied, he issued my study permit and informed me about the 20 hours limit for working and restated my full exemption from any quarantine. I did the arrival covid test and wasn't given the home test kit for Day 8 testing due to my exemption status.

I stayed at the airport for a bit while waiting for my hotel's shuttle bus. On getting to the hotel, I informed them about my exemption status and I filled a form for refund purposes (I had booked the more expensive GAA Rate a month ago when I had originally intended to travel) while they confirm my status with Public Health Canada. I really enjoyed the food at the hotel and the room was really lovely. I had seen some terrible reviews of Crowne Plaza just before my trip but I had no issues while there for 3 days. I am currently at a friend's place while waiting for my flight to Winnipeg in Manitoba on Friday (my school is Brandon University).

Canada so far has been lovely and quite interesting to observe (the sun doesn't set in Toronto until close to 10 PM and by 5 AM it's up again). I wish everyone awaiting their PPR the best of luck and the assurance that God will perfect what He has started. I pray God blesses the Gurus (Frank and Lekibobo just to name a few) and everyone who contributes their quota in providing help and information on this great thread. Have a great day all and may the rain of PPR continue. Amen!

Ok. Thanks a lot.
How much is the GCMS note, and where can I get it?
shupy:

Well, you already applied. All you can do now is hope for best. You can go ahead and submit the landed property documents via webform. I personally don't consider them a game changer especially if it doesn't belong to the applicant, but it certainly won't have a negative effect on one's application so one might as well include if it's available.
The best home tie remains long-term prospect in home country. It has to be addressed in the SOP. Order for your GCMS note to see remarks of the officer.

So sorry for the delayed response.
What I did in my case, since I couldn't find the slip too after 5 years was to pay the transmission fee and send my package to Abuja (my biometrics was done in Lagos) It was a win-win situation because a lot of people claimed Abuja was faster in processing the visa (which turned out to be true) and also saved me the hassle of not having the slip and receipt.

Items submitted
# My passport
# The receipt of payment of the transmission fee
# Correspondence letter from IRCC requesting your passport
# Consent form

No specific period but some people request for their notes when their application have passed processing time, some when they are refused to see how their application went and what to do differently.

I will advice you don't request for your notes too early so your notes won't come back empty especially if your eligibility review hasn't started but then we have seen people who gets PPR without eligibility changing, so, there is really no time to point out.

I have someone that wants to apply to the college, what's the professional fee of Maple Education please

Teemenzo:
Congratulations to everyone who received their PPR. Super glad for everyone. The Lord who did yours will answer everyome of us.

So this is my own progress story since i finished my long time deal with my so-called agent. I hustled to get two schools which i applied to. First was Cambrian College to study Animation, class starts by Jan 2022. Second is Fanshawe College, to study Construction Project Management, class starts by Jan 2022. I prefer the second one being a one year program to move me to Master's Program directly.

But i noticed that Fanshawe doesn't allow applicants from Nigeria to apply directly. So they sent a list of Agents affiliated to them for the admission. I selected Maple Education Canada for the application. I called them and they responded well. The online application was done this midnight, payment and acknowledgement was done this afternoon.

So fingers crossed, probably i will have to go and gather all necessary documents for the study visa application. So once the admission letter is sent, i move on with it and get it done in less than two days.

One question pls before submitting the application, can the medicals also ve uploaded along with it? Thank you
