A friend of mine while working as one of the leaders of believersloveworld fellowship in his campus, once confessed about how the pressure of meeting such wordly targets set their leaders, made him to start preaching and doing things he ought not have done.

Before he said that, I had told him that such targets ought not be heard of in the church, because they are worldly targets and the world ways of doing things, and the church is not meant follow the methods of the world because even though they be in the world, they are not supposed to be of the world but of the kingdom of God. It's instead the world that ought to follow the methods of the church, not the other way round because that's the purpose the church was made, to be an example to the world.

The only target the church and her leaders ought to meet is to ensure that they did what Jesus commanded them to do, which is to teach men to observe His commandments. Matthew 28:20

Once they missed that, they have missed the whole essence of the church.

I am afraid you are mistaken.... God Himself commanded us to judge all things according to His Law, Jesus Christ- John 7 vs 24. So, it is in a man's best interest that He judge all things to ensure that which He submits to is indeed of God.

Jesus Christ even clearly gave us the answer to how to know who is his disciples and who is not when He explained that by their fruit you shall know His disciples from the false teachers and liars. He even went as far as giving us the expo when He declared that those who love Him and are His friends are those who obey His teachings and commandments - John 14 vs 20 - 21, those who do what He tells them to do - John 15 vs 14.

Clearly Jesus Christ did not hide the facts about how you can know those who belong to Him from those who don't. However, you are free to hold on to ignorance if you prefer.

As long as what they do are within the bounds of the law, there is not much difference as it simply seems the churches push the boundary a lot further than others are willing to go is all.

I am telling you what Jesus Christ said which is that anyone who comes to you teaching doctrines and traditions of men in the name of God is a false Teacher and false prophet. I publicly condemn anyone who teaches lies in the name of God because Jesus Christ commanded that we condemn such evil.

If what you don't like has nothing to do with the teachings of Jesus Christ, then how can your judgment be considered righteous? Judge righteously is what you are called to do and the only way to do that is to judge according to the teachings and comandments/rules of Jesus Christ.

This is a big big lie from the pit of hell. Winners chapel doesn't sack people for not meeting any financial target but for not performing spiritually. Winners chapel is less concern about financial growth but spiritual growth. I am a pastor in that church who is speaking from experience. Whoever gave this information is not sincere. May God forgive such.

Does your parish make monthly financial returns to regional headquarters and submit financial statements or not?
