Correct Lawyer!
I believe they will be opening a new case against FG on the extra-ordinary rendition before talking about any trial

So from the accounts of this, Malami did not lie.

And he was arrested by the NIA and sister agencies from Kenya.

As for the claims of extraordinary rendition, the lawyer needs to read the new evidence act and then read the supreme court judgenent of personal rights and national security.

There is nothing to read because the Nigeria government acted illegally. one single error can destroy an entire book page, that's how the law works

Under the new evidence act, evidence gotten through illegal means can now be endured in court as long as the evidence is relevant.

Hence Nnamdi Kanu been back whether illegally or legally doesn't matter as long as he is back.

The Supreme Court said in cases where personal liberty and National Security clashes, National Security takes the lead in cases of National Security, your personal right as a person doesn't matter.

I am aware getting evidemce illegally nullifies the evidence in developed countries but I don't how that plays out locally.

Nnamdi Kanu is a British citizen. Your Draconian Buharist laws can't apply to him

NK has renounced Nigerian citizenship over and over in the past

You can't go overseas kidnap a foreigner and bring him to Nigeria. That's state sponsored terrorism and international law doesn't allow that

Not here. It is admissible and will be used. The court does not care if you were brought legally or illegally. As long as you are there, case open

Terrorists have no such right. Their lives are opened to be terminated at a button, kidnapped and destroyed at a moment's notice.

Being a foreigner is not an immunity from the consequence of your actions.

Unfortunately, the real world does not work like that.

Just because you announce on radio or TV that you renounce your citizenship does not mean any thing.

Below is the process of renouncing your citizenship (according to section 29 of the constitution) and guess what? The president still has to approve of it else, you remain a Nigerian

29. (1) Any citizen of Nigeria of full age who wishes to renounce his Nigerian citizenship shall make a declaration in the prescribed manner for the renunciation.

(2) The President shall cause the declaration made under subsection (1) of this section to be registered and upon such registration, the person who made the declaration shall cease to be a citizen of Nigeria.

(3) The President may withhold the registration of any declaration made under subsection (1) of this section if-

(a) the declaration is made during any war in which Nigeria is physically involved; or

(b) in his opinion, it is otherwise contrary to public policy.

(4) For the purposes of subsection (1) of this section.

(a) "full age" means the age of eighteen years and above;

(b) any woman who is married shall be deemed to be of full age.

Kanu is not a foreigner and the Brits know. He is a Nigerian by birth which is one of the strongest forms of citizenship ever.

Lol! this Kanu Lawyer is too docile for my liking, he should expand his knowledge on legal procedures and stop acting ignorantly.

The day these people realised that legal procedures varies with velocity of case involved, the day they will realise that Kanu will be tried in Nigeria and nothing will happen.

Interesting times ahead....
Reading through fellow NL comments and that of a moderator @Mynd44 ....I'll say we need not say so much based on opinion and just wait for how events turn out.....It will surely be interesting!
