Now let us look at it this way.

If that man verbally assault the ambassador of Nigeria in Austria, what will you call it?

Will he be jailed?

Ipob and omkri have protested at many embassies. What happened to them?

Look from a personal angle to a public and political angle.

Man you got a problem, yet you don't know it,

You wan tryna use Ipob, and Omokri to support the man's action or what

When do one needs to inform or get police approval to protest?

Countries laws varies. Can you please confirm if that is the case in Austria? Where it will be termed slander? grin

He didn’t damage anything. He only told them not to represent Nigeria.

If you paid attention in University especially in Nigeria . There is a course called business law that teaches the basics of law to students not studying law..

When someone verbally abuses you it's called slander . When someone writes or types a document abusing another person it's called libel.

If someone charges at you or makes threatening hand signs towards you it can be termed threat to Life.

If someone presence makes you uncomfortable then you can charge the person with misdemeanors. Which is also part of the laws the ha:usa man broke.

These are general laws globally.

They are representing Nigeria which comprises not just the presidency but all 36 states and 774 local governments. They are not doing anything in the name of Buhari and APC. What the man in the video was ranting about is the policy of the buhari government not Nigeria as a whole period.

Even that man who protested knows he was being irrational. I'm very sure he's part of those who travelled abroad for greener pastures and ended up worse. He just sees the Super Falcons as privileged children who seem to be enjoying the current administration and are not suffering what he and some other people are suffering, so he's hating and picking on them, feeling that they're not concerned with Nigeria's problems. Maybe they were even cracking jokes and enjoying themselves, then he overheard them and came over.

Our problem in Nigeria is that so many people are suffering without jobs, so they begin to hate on people who seem not to be suffering and looking for a way to pull Nigeria down, thinking that things will change if there's a new country or government.

Poverty and unemployment is the real reason behind bandits, herder farmer wars, secessionist movements, religious tensions. Nobody who is earning enough money to be comfortable, will have time to pursue things like that. Had that dude been employed and had a good job in Austria, he would even be taking selfies with the players grin

As you can can see yourself, when it is “you” that’s personally you are correct .....but it’s a different matter if it is a public holder or country representative.

I don’t know how to explain this again to you.

no one is defenseless.

it takes a group of people or even one person to stop the killings to help tackle it and at worst it takes a state government and not the federal govt willing to stop the killings to help tackle it.

you expect a federal government filled with j:ihadists and non-efik non-ibibio to become willing to stop killings that they believe is the will of the God they are worshiping.. You lack ethnic consciousness..

A person from Akwa-ibom state should only be concerned about Akwa-ibom and Akwa-ibom people and how the Akwa-ibom diaspora ( people from Akwa-Ibom living outside Akwa-Ibom ) are doing..

note: I am not saying you should be anti-nigeria.. you can be pro-akwa-ibom and still not be anti-nigeria...

Isn't this the exact same thing Buhari is doing and you're complaining?

You have been educated that government is under the Nigerian state same as sport national teams.

Governments change it can be democracy tomorrow, dictatorship the next or monarchy the following week but the state always remains. It's the Nigerian state represented by the Nigerian people that give government legitimacy.

You need to come out of this old military mind set that your loyalty is to however happens to be president or governor at any given time. Your loyalty is to the Nigerian people who have given authority to the president to execute the constitution on their behalf.

Stop confusing yourself. I never said they are representing Buhari.

However, they are representing Nigeria under the government of Nigeria.

Can you please separate Falcon from the government? cheesy

What are the responsibilities of the government self?

Honestly, most people giraffe pass exams for school. grin

Why did Nigeria boycott Olympic and 1996 AFCON? Who stopped them?

Whose interest were they protecting? grin

You just keep saying what you know nothing about. Nigeria and many other African countries boycotted the 1976 Olympics due to racist concerns and a standing beef with New Zealand over some of their sporting actions.

As for the 1996 nations cup. The Super Eagles wanted to participate but were prevented by Abacha due to a standing beef with Mandela as South Africa was hosting. It was not a decision taken by the Super Eagles themselves. Mind you that this resulted in a ban in the 1998 version.

Go and acquire knowledge first before coming for an argument.

If the Athletes and footballers were not representing Nigeria under the government why didn’t they go represent Nigeria regardless of the government stance? grin

You are still refusing to humble yourself and receive correction.

Nigeria is above government. Government gets legitimacy from the people. Gaddafi was Libya people with external support kicked him out Libya is still existing.

Somalia that doesn't have a central government how do their athletes participate in sports na under somalia government wey no dey function? sometimes calm down and reason.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somalia_at_the_2016_Summer_Olympics

When Nigeria withdrew from the Olympics it was a joint African decision which the athletes understood because it was a political decision on their behalf by the Nigerian people against apartheid. 1996 when government was solely funding our football is the example you are bringing up? When GEJ withdrew Nigeria in 2010 from international competition what happened?

NFF according to FIFA is separate from government of Nigeria so what are you on about?
