If we can get at least 24 UCAVs. That would be perfect.

And we need another Air Force base in Borno.
Why do you think we need 24 UCAVs?

Conveniently missed the part of "structured multi agency approach". You have named yourself kid
Terrible try again once your IQ increases a bit. Facts don't care about your feelings. wink

We are fighting deadly and genocidal armed bandits in Niger, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Benue, Nasarawa, Jos, Kogi and pockets of other locations. We need to end them now.

What about transport aircrafts?

How do we resupply our soldiers and aircrafts if we don't have adequate transport aircrafts?
Bro one step at a time, let's pay up for the MI 35 and Mi-17, we need more of them with the growing incidents in North Central.
We could always go for transport aircrafts when we've settled our internal crisis.

If you're wondering how the American pilots would fly back to America, this Donier support aircraft escorted the Super Tucanos all the way from Florida to Nigeria.

Following the successful delivery of this batch of Tucanos, what next for the Nigerian Air Force?

The Air Force were recently giving nearly 1 billion dollars in additional funding, different from the initial funding in 2021 budget.

This additional fund goes specifically to capital projects, no salaries.

What are we to expect?

Alpha Jets need to be replaced

Additional attack helicopters are required

Additional MI-17 helicopters are needed.

Light and medium tactical transport aircrafts also needed.

A minimum squadron of modern 4th Gen fighter jets are also needed.

So what would it be for NAF??
Where una police?? Why nobody dey carry police along? We need this men o.

Nigeria Police that is buying MRAPS, some UCAVs and at least one armed chopper with armoured cockpit.
Their own requirements were even more descriptive than Airforce and Army.
DHQ is also buying stuff for many joint ops.

Please do you have any snippets on whether the NA intends to buy the T-90 this time around?

Oga, you know this story. The NA converted an earlier T90 order to MRAPs. Why would we be fielding T90?. I can understand Egypt or Algeria or Ethiopia with their terrain.

They would only hamper us with Boko Haram.
For conventional threats, Chad or Cameroon are not going to attack us with large armoured columns. Actually i am hoping any potential enemy displays such order of battle against Nigeria. We will finish the tanks over a 10km sq area in 30 minutes.
So no more T90. I am thinking maybe more Chinese tanks just to make up numbers.

Generally I think a war in West Africa will apply resources of a typical Gahnaian or Chadian ORBAT. A little like those Chadian rebels from Libya fielded against Deby:- lots of very fast gun trucks, MRAPs, tank destroyers.
Nigeria would add choppers, MI35Ms and Super Tucanos for battle field air dominance.

Why would they go for another type of MBT ?
For now I think they'll rather acquire more of the VT-4 MBT and more AFV/IFV/MRAPs.

Hehehehe grin battle field air dominance with super Tucano? We are trouble in this country.

You people here must think other nations joke with issues of security and defense... With what we have currently and our shameful show of weakness before an uncivilized and untrained gang of insurgents, any war between Nigeria and an African nation that knows its salt, will be fierce, short and decisive. Propaganda will not save us when we are faced with an enemy that understands our weaknesses.

Super Tucano Air dominance. Haba. You think you will be fighting with a tribe of unexposed Kenyan safari people who are armed with spare? The tucanos will be shot down by even the oldest cold war era air defense systems.

Nigeria is populous and we have crowd, but how mobile is that crowd how mechanized is our army. Can we move 2 divisions of the army from one place to the other without exposing our soft belly?

The Nigerian armed forces is weak, slow and too heavy to move itself.

Sudanese and Saudi incompetence continues unabated.
Houthis bend them over and molest them, seemingly at will.

I said battlefield dominance from the air.
I did not mean air superiority stuff or SEAD capability.

You say the Army is slow and yet you think it is T90s that will make the Army fast.
Where does that happen?

Please let Google be your friend. Look at the MBT inventories of the UK, France and Germany. Why are they not in the '000s, it is because they know what they are doing?
Simulations and wargames have shown those things don't work as we used to think.

Look at the latest Armenia-Azerbaijan war. How many tanks did you think rolled and how many were taken out by UCAVs and slow moving aircraft firing precision weapons?

The Super Tucano is carrying the same weapons that top ĺine F16s carry.
It has the same defensive counter measures that F16s have - flares, decoys and is highly maneuverable.
On top of this, it launches ordnance from stand off distances.
It is a very effective compliment to JF17s and F7NIs in the order of battle

When your enemy adapts into gaurella warfare style it's very difficult to tackle. It's like throwing a world class tech through the window.
That's what happened to the US in Vietnam.

As far as the hardware is good, in my opinion, Nigeria needs to invest in countering the terrorist ideologies. If the military can win over the hearts and the minds of the Northern populace, Fewer people from there will be willing to join terror or criminal gangs. This will also make intelligence gathering easier since people will actively provide information

You seriously believe this

Amnesty is a NSA/CIA front organization

Almost all security service providers are on the payroll of NSA/CIA willing or unwilling , providing backdoors for them

NSO most probably didn't play ball and was hit with misinformation campaign or maybe some other reasons like CIA/NSA were riding on it without anyone being aware

Lets get little commonsensical

You are a security service provider i bought Pegasus from you and i decided to use it to snoop on say bidexxi , now how the hell would you know i snopped on bidexii ? Why would you keep track/log on who i am snooping on and risk your credibility if by chance info gets leaked , are you going to ruin your reputation and loose all business from then on ? Or am i that stupid to use something without checking whether it is compromised or not ie keeping track of what i am doing ?

Facebook Twitter YouTube Instagram Netflix everything is literally being used to snoop on you lol nothing to say about the smartphones, laptops etc we all use

Damn ironical all this
