Dwisy:Your years of work experience is nice but if you are looking for funding you should take at least the GRE to make your profile decent for safe WES schools. |

Erudite77:I believe thats 3.27/5. Which university did you graduate from? Try prepare to take the TOEFL and ace it first? Also, plan to do the WES( World Education Service) to evaluate your transcripts to US equivalent GPA after that you can look at possible schools. |

Predstan:Thanks for the response however my school is not part of top 100 engineering schools that's why I thought of getting lenders outside those financialinstitutions. What reasons can I give for deferring at POE? |

[quote author=Amenndmore post=103483694]Hi guys.. please in July 2021 how long does it take to get an approval for an emergency f1 visa appointment date? Thanks Please, have you gotten a response? I have not gotten a response too. Thank you |
| Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 16 by Predstan: 9:03pm On Jul 24, 2021 |
Rarebeauty:What school?. Prodigy Finance listed some new schools last week. Check it out on their website. You should give Genuine reason why you won’t be going. Why did finances suddenly became a problem when you already proved to the Consulate that you can finance your studies. Another option is to email your graduate coordinator for funding. Inform them that you have your visa already. They will be able to come up with something if available. |

Good morning all, I sincerely appreciate this platform. It’s been very helpful in my Ms application process. My school start date is 30th of August but will be required to resume before then (26th August) for orientation. I have also requested an EA and I await a favourable response. In the meantime, I believe opportunity meets preparedness. I’d like to have mock interviews with anyone willing to help. Thank you in advance. |

Rarebeauty:You can say you were strong and had to defer or use the third wave as a reason . There are people who have deferred after getting their visa check this thread and reach out to them |

Pefuele:Thanks for your well thought-out response, I really appreciate. I am just few weeks away from being a graduate here in school. Already, I've gotten some materials on Gre for preparation. I actually wanted to know if scholarships abounds for the course(s) i.e (Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering or Biosystems Engineering) I mentioned in any of the U.S. schools. From my research so far, I only know of McGill in Canada. |

Teophilus96:Nice GPA! Make sure you take GRE and TOEFL and score at least 315(Q-160) and 90(S-23) respectively so as to be able to qualify for TAship/RAship into Top Schools, Middle schools and safety net schools in USA. As for your degree, if you actually read Agricultural Engineering in your UG degree it’s suitable for you to have admit with full funding in IE(Industrial Engineering) as that is the direct degree many go for with your UG degree in USA as few schools have Agricultural Engineering in USA. Schools like Okstate University, UIUC etc have it but to enter IE is very easy for you with your good grades in your coursework which will make you worthy for both admit and funding. However, 4 of my students got Admit , Full Funding (TAship ) & visa approval with PhD IE this Fall semester and they’re your professional brothers as they studied Agricultural Engineering as Their UG degree too. Finally, as best in your class you already have a good Letter of recommendations to make your app to be more Competitive for TAship especially. I wish you good-luck in your both tests! |

Teophilus96:Nice one! With this your unofficial WES Evaluation it shows you don’t graduate with a First class honor because if you do so it normally start from 3.70/4.0 with WES Evaluation irrespective of your last 60 CS. What I am saying in Essence is that you have to work hard in both tests (GRE and TOEFL) so as to have a ramified, competitive and catchy application so that there won’t be a problem where with your great gpa you had a Gre score of 290 , TOEFL 79 you know it’s not perfect as it look mediocre to some TOP schools to even respond to your question at all. So, try to balance it well by having a great GRE score and toelf. Success ahead ! |

I know the fairheart issue has died down but I must say I was utterly astonished when I got to know this guy is still on this thread extorting people (as if Nigeria isn’t hard enough). He has been doing this since 2019 and probably before then. I’ll repeat what I said in 2019 again — “If previous people that graced this wonderful thread were charging for every piece of information they were dishing out, how many of us will be where we are today ?” To everyone supporting the guy, SHAME ON YOU. Shalom. |
