Is there any aspect of facilities management that has to do with data gathering & analytics? You can do more research on that and try build a story from there.
Anu2002:
Congratulations to the recent PPR recipients. I pray we all get the good news. I have a question. With the hindsight of proving purpose of visit, how do you explain in your SOP why you are choosing data analytics for PGD. Background 10 years work experience in facility management/real estate. First degree -Business Admin. Thank you.

You are welcome Chief.

Of a truth, the Non-STEM graduates I have seen so far that got Fully-funded Graduate offer from Canadian & US Universities are those in
- History
- International Relations
- Political Science
- Language & Linguistics etc.

I haven't really come across Non-STEM in Management areas that got Fully-funded Graduate offer in a Canadian or US universities.

But I feel the possible game changer for you is if you can tailor your Non-STEM Management Research Interests to STEM cos have seen posts on twitter whereby some two guys in Banking & Finance field have to tailor their Research to STEM , which enabled them get a Fully-funded Graduate offer.

How can you do that?

Since you specialise in Finance & your Research interests are on
- Corporate finance and investment banking or international finance, if you are skilled in Data Analytics (Python, SQL, R-progam, Advanced Excel, SAS etc.), you can easily go for RESEARCH INTERESTS in Business Analytics, cos your skills in Business Analytics can be applied to Corporate Financing, investment banking , international finance

You can go through the Post in the link below, you might find it helpful

If you are interested in MSC or PHD in Business Analytics in Canadian Universities

I will suggest you emphasize on long term prospect of the intended program in Nigeria when writing your SOP. Make it seem very promising in Nigeria.

Most Canadian provinces have a provincial nominee program for international students. Regardless of the province, it is easy to get PR after completing your studies. You will get your 3 years PGWP after completing at least a 2-year program; it has nothing to do with the province. Most people are going to Ontario because it is one of the largest provinces and thus has lots of educational institutions.

Please Guys I will need your advice, I have IJMB O Level English in replace for Waec O level English deficiency which I used to gain admission for my University. Am planning a master degree program in Canada I will like to know if it will be possible to get admission with the O level combinations for my Masters program or if there is any program to take at first in Canada. I mean like a pre degree that will help in replace for the O level. Lastly if there is, which schools are opened for this.

I will need your sincere advice as have reached out to some agent some said it’s possible while some also said not possible
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Omiinii: 11:22pm On Jul 24, 2021
You can show home ties, if you have parents in Nigeria as you have moral responsibility towards them. If they have properties as well you can expound on that as well. If you are part of an religious body, NGO, Red Cross...stuff like that you can claim to have moral and social obligations as well...you really don't have a lot of options as an 18 year old with no significant asset to him name so it's better to elucidate on what you have.
