Onyekuru confirms to journalist Atakan Kurt, that Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Başakşehir are all interested in him.

He has not received any message from Galatasaray since season ended.

I'm glad to see Akwa United on top. I hope they impress on the continent. The only team I really don't like seeing represent us on the continent is Kano Pillars.

cheesy everyone is tired of Kano Pillars. I think they are a team for next season. They have some really good young players but it will always take time to help especially when the coaching isn't so top class.

I think Akwa will do well unless they get a team like Al Ahly in the qualification stage. Kennedy Boboye has really done a great job with the team. Definitely the coach of the season. Best defensive record, best away record and second best attacking. They just need to keep the core players together and add more quality at certain positions.

hello house, please how can a young grassroot footballer get a football representative/agent.

NB: the grassroot footballer doesn't have the fund, but can let go of 20-40% of his wages after getting a pro contract.

please help with useful info.

It could happen. They have a great chance of getting 9 points from their final 4 matches. Adamawa should be free 3 points and I am sure they will defend their house. If by mistake they beat heartland tomorrow (which is very possible) they would be all but in.

I like their first 11 but they need a bigger squad to truly compete for a title. They should have never allowed Stephen Jude to go with the national team. Those couple of games really cost them. Plus it took time for Jude and Ohanu to get back their chemistry.

They could draw that Kano Pillars game. The rest shouldn't be a problem unless officiating wants to ruin things.

Sure, especially their attacking chemistry. If they qualify for Africa, im sure they'll add up and balance.

Hey did u know Liz Cambage is also Nigerian? We need to pursue that girl Sharp sharp. First FIBA law permits it, next she is one of the most dominant players in basketball and lastly she has had a long running battle with Australian people who don't like her. I know she had a fight with one of our girls but I am sure whoever that is will get over it if they end up being teammates

Yeah her dad is Nigerian, that's actually well known, but she never grew up with him or let alone to feel Nigerian. She had an issue during our scrimmage game with Australia which let her pull out of the Olympics. Up till now we don't know what led to the issue. And it's not her first time making the news she could be very mercurial .

Na to ask am first na. One step at a time. I do know she is a big time fighter against Australian racism and that is the biggest reason they hate on her. She backed out of the Olympics because she has had enough. We would be a perfect option for her because we already have a set team that she could turn into a big time contender by joining. That would be a big middle finger to Australia something I am sure would interest her.

She feels Australian and she is equally proud about it

No worries. Turnovers and free throws will need to be worked on. Aussie are the gold medal favorites! They're in a league of their own. Germany and Italy are no match for the boys. We move.

Alhassan Yusuf is not on the match day squad for today’s season opener at KV Mechelen, but he will be a “key player” for Antwerp after he was handed jersey No 8 by his new Belgian club.

The former IFK Goteborg star midfielder trained for the first time with the rest of the squad Saturday, but it was not enough to get him on the match day squad.

He will be expected to be involved by his new team’s next game at home against KV Kortrijk Sunday next week.

A top source told SCORENigeria: “Alhassan has been told he will be a key player for Antwerp and that explains his jersey number, (He has been handed jersey No cool.

“He will play as a box-to-box midfielder which will allow him to fully express himself.

“He has the energy and the drive to make a big impression by hitting the ground running right from the get-go.”

Yusuf has signed a four-year contract after ambitious Antwerp paid 1.5 Million Euros to Swedish club IFK Goteborg.

He had a year left on his contract with Goteborg.

the zambian team that played china yesterday will be difficult for the SF to win. I'm sure you didn't watch the match. If not lack of experience, the scoreline would have been something like 7:4 in favour of zambia.
China is ranked 15th.. Zambia is ranked 104th in fifa ranking.
And zambia balled china from the start of the whistle till the last one. disorganised them. Made them to committ a red card offence.

Last time we played in 2016 or so we won them but by then, they were still building their team and most of the players then were from their U-17.
To tell you the truth, i don't know how you have been following the SF but there needs the urgency for them to be sharp in their games. be fast and quick. If you watched our last game against USA and Portugal, you will notice that only the times we raised the tempo of our game were we dreadful.

I hope the Aisha buhari cup will hold so that we can get to play this zambian team.

dozai:

We keep underrating our SF. It no go tey they will meet this same Zambia team in AWCON. The result go shock you. For now we don't have any mate yet in Africa. Chinese female team has lost it. They used to be up there cos they and US first started female soccer professionally. But other countries have picked up. Soon na primary 1 seat dem go collect.

Exactly, this win would make him an elite coach in the league. Hopefully Akwa keep him after the season.

Yea I would take Nasarawa over Kano right now but I still have to credit Rabiu Ali. His great season has been overshadowed by all the noise. He is the best attacking midfielder in the country today. The numbers are not even close.

Man, i don't know who is a kid. Someone is telling you something based on reality and you still talking about former stuff.
Football is improving. Like play like play, SF missed the olympics. Weren't them QFinalist when we missed it?

Like i already replied someone, the zambia that played china and with the way they played them and high tempo, it will be very difficulty for the SF to beat them.

Too many kids here same Falcons that is the only African team to make the quarter finals of an Olympic tournament won't have done better than Zambia smh grin
