Hello nairaland people.

My cousin's wife introduced me to this beautiful girl with the hope that I settle down with her, but I was discouraged when I found the age gap. She's 25, and I just turned 40, although I still look 30. We're just friends currently.

To the married and matured people on here, is this gap not too much?

A simple advice; when you see a good behaviour that you feel you can manage, don't let pressure or shame push you to what you don't want. Unless she changes her mind, I will wait for her. I know a neighbor who married a girl due to recommendations and it ended after 3yrs. That 18 yes old girl will someday be 25, 35, 45 and grow old.
I've seen a wife and she has agreed, I won't shame out of a good marriage in future.

She's 18 and you're 36 correct? The fact that you see her as a wife is baffling, what does a teenager know about marriage and caring for a family? Are you from the north? If no, are her parents less privileged that they'd allow you marry their daughter without furthering her education?
