And for those who have gotten CAS from Teesside University, I just want to ask if the school conducted an oral interview for you after answering sending your mandatory questionnaire answer to the school...

Close to 3 weeks no CAS....still waiting...

Did they verify your POF and when did they send you a mail that it’s been verified?

Well, its possible but is it practical?

Reason is, the timeline is rather too tight. If you're due in Jan and you want to start a masters program in Jan.

Duty of care from the health people, they wont want to be put in that situation
Secondly, it just comes out as having to just want to exploit the services - theres nothing bad in that because youre technically paying IHS but if an over zealous CW picks it, they can make an issue out of nothing..

Other things to consider,
1. What support will you have after delivery (Financial and human)?
2. Hope you don't plan to work at least in the first 3 months after delivery??
3. Your school will actually excuse you (for some weeks or months) from school work if they know you've just had a baby, I'm not sure if this is mandatory.

Thank you for the prompt feedback.
I will just wait for September 2022 then, it will be much easier for me.
Thank you once again.

Like i said earlier, you need to consider the practicality of what you want.

Good morning house. I hope we are doing great.

@justwise and other gurus in the house, I need you to attend to this for me, please. I asked the question a few days ago, but I couldn't get the answer, hence my bringing it up again.

I am about to submit my application for Jan 2022 session to Salford University, however, I am in a dilemma whether to go ahead or not. The reason is that I am currently pregnant and will be due in January 2022. My concerns are:
1. Do I stand a chance of having my visa approved before November (all things being equal) to enable me to travel before I reach 36 weeks as most airlines don't allow pregnant mothers beyond 36/37weeks to board?
2. Being a new mum and attending schools, how does this work out for whoever has gone through this path before?

Please, ejoor o, kindly answer my naive question this time around.

God bless you

You will struggle to juggle pregnancy and full time education, you are going to miss second semester and probably repeat a module missing out on PSW as a result..think about your decision carefully.

Good Morning

1. Yes for Sheffield Hallam Uni, you can even use NECO (Not just sure if some courses are exempted)

wolewole200:

Good morning house. Please just a couple of questions please.

1. For those who have applied to Sheffield Hallam University, is WAEC or English Proficiency Letter accepted in lieu of IELTS? I can't seem to find the information on their website.

Same for University of Sunderland too.

2. In applying for Visa, can I use a Domiciliary dollar account and Naira account together as proof of Funds? I didn't use the Dom account for my school CAS. I'm using it now because the other account had issues after getting CAS. Hope this won't be an issue?

Thank you for the help so far

IOM is not for biometrics. They do your medical screening.
On this journey, when we talk about biometrics, we are referring what you do at TLS. wink

Timii1:

Yes, at least IOM will do capturing before you proceed to do the x-ray

Goodmorning, I am filling the visa application form. I have these questions, please, put me through
(1)I am going with my husband (i am the main applicant). I filled my hubby's details where they stated "spouse/partner details. Then the part of dependant details, do I need to include his details there too?
(2)on the dependant details, I filled my children's details, but they are not going with us. The part they stated "is this person travelling with you to the UK?" Do I say yes or no (like if I say no, won't it attract questions like why are we leaving them behind, with who?)
(3) on my husband's visa form (the dependant form. The part they asked "which Visa is xxxx applying for or been granted?, what option do I choose? Is it tier 2 (general) visa or which one?.

Thanks alot for this report

I think that figure is correct considering the service charge as well.

Good day @justwise, @Chikadibia21 and other gurus in the house. Is being a Registered practitioner in the UK equal to completing a qualification equivalent to a UK degree and so would not need to prove my knowledge of English. I am asking for the purpose of visa application.
mscindee:
Thank you. To clarify, I was asking about the proof of English proficiency for the purpose of visa application and not school application.

Please I can't seem to get an early date at Abuja IOM for TB test and have sent them emails repeatedly but I'm still asked to go back to the website, what do you advice I do?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 5 by Angelswt(f): 11:44am On Jul 27, 2021
Hi

For student visa application you don't need to submit that.
You would need to submit:
*Your mum's statement of account. (The money must have been held in the account for minimum 28 days)
*Consent letter from your mum
*Birth certificate (to show relationship between you and your mum)

P.S please check the first page of this thread for more information.

Good morning everyone. Congratulations to all that got their visas approved.

I've tried to read as much as possible. May God bless all those dishing out advice selflessly. May all our dreams come true.

Please forgive me if this has been answered, i couldn't find my answers. My husband and I have 10years uk visit visas. Please will this be cancelled if I'm issued a study visa?

Once again, i appologise if this has been answered. Not my intention to spam the thread.

Hello mumzt, please was your 10 years Visit visa cancelled when your student visa was approved?

No it wasn't.

The entry clearance officer even stamped us in with that instead of the study visa. So its still on the pasport. Just idle
