It should be a crime that this Zambian keeper didn't start that first game.

Sense fall on you Amen....

Any small thing you throw politics into it, if am one of a kind, then get it into your mind, that am a very special one of a kind man,

I crawled out, then tell me from whence I crawled out? Feeds me Since you where there when he is/was feeding me why don't you objected

You who had found his mind, that same mind did not tell you that " a man can't make a forest" did it I guess not,

And that's you you farted with your mouth always

Please go rest somewhere

You always defend this man even he is obvious he messed up by consenting to this quota based caf system and with the way he has managed the cadet teams by leaving them at the mercy of fluke coaches and friends who did nothing to manage this team well

Then you've no moral basis to criticise buhari supporters because the syncopancy they portray you're simply doing it now....

If u cant speak the truth let those who can talk...

Onyekuru to Olympiakos almost a done deal.

The Greek side are so keen on the player that immediately they got the yes from Onyekuru, they sped up the transfer. They have been chasing him since his Everton days.

They might decide to outrightly buy the player, but first have to confirm UCL group stage money will come.

François Modesto, chief scout at Olympiacos, who speaks English, personally called him and showed him the Greek club's plans this season.

Olympiakos will be in the UCL group stages if they avoid defeat against Azerbaijan side, Neftchi Baku, tomorrow. Head coach, Pedro Martins is also a big fan.

The good thing about this deal is that Olympiakos are short of quality first team players.

The bad: Greece is an awful league.

Watford and Hertha Berlin were the other non-Turkish sides interested.

You sure say Olympiakos go enter group stage after that game ?

I think the tomorrow game should be the 2nd qualifying round

We still have 3rd qualifying round and the playoff before the group stage

Meant to write UEFA Group stages not UCL.

If they eliminate Neftci tomorrow, they will be guaranteed a place in one of the three UEFA competitions.

After this stage, they face Ludogorets/Soligorsk.

After which if all goes well, they will look to avoid Rangers in the last round.

Many Olympiakos fans aren't happy with the move though.

He probably went to the team that showed the most interest in him, as he said he would do on Brila fm.

Or for Champions League football.

Or because no team could agree a deal with Monaco. Gala, Fener and Besiktas were turned back.

The funny thing is Hertha Berlin currently have no natural senior left winger, and they competed with Everton in 2017 to sign Onyekuru. Everton outbidded them and the lure of EPL football.

Dilrosun who is Hertha Berlin's only senior left winger but left-footed has only 8 goals in his whole career.

It's not really the case in football transfers.

Agreeing a deal with a player is one thing, agreeing with the club is another.

When Ejuke went to CSKA Moscow last year, everyone thought there was not much interest.

But last year, after Feyenoord beat CSKA in UEL, they confirmed they were interested but couldn't agree a deal with Heereven or match CSKA's offer.

If Turkish clubs who spend anyhow couldn't agree a deal with Monaco, then Hertha might have no chance.

That was a clear red card. Similar foul that ruined Onazi's career.

Zambia played against Brazil with 10players and still only 1:0 Brazil managed to score.
I'm proud of them. I am happy that African female football is developing especially the Zambian team. One can see why I said that the SF may find it difficult to beat them.

I just imagined if the ref had given the Brazilian player a red card and the two teams with equal players. Zambia might have managed to equalize. It was hard to differentiate that the Zambian team were playing with a player down.

That referee looks familiar. The racism in women's soccer is obvious. They didn't even look at the foul.

If the coach had used this goalkeeper for the whole tournament I bet they qualify because they should have defeated China and today would have been close

I don't want to quickly put it down on racism. Because she pulled her leg back at some point to prevent injuries to the Zambian player. Nevertheless, considering how weak female soccer players knees are and their susceptibility to ACL and similar injuries, that foul should been used to set an example.

that is true. She tried today.

They should have won the chinese team. They were better than them but lack of experience is affecting them. Let them keep on trying, they will soon become a powerhouse from that part of Africa.

This new CAF qualification stuff has it advantages and Disad. too.
I like it as it gives countries from that side opportunity to qualify for major tournaments but i think the West african FAs should have proposed for the WAFU qualification to be more like a league since the major CAF female powerhouse teams are from there.
First 3 teams from WAFU, Southern and central african countries qualifies for the last qualificationround while north & east africa shares the remaining 3 slots making a total of 12 teams.
Regroup them into 2 groups and the first 3 teams with the highest point qualifies.

I'm in support of the opinion that qualifications for international tournaments based solely on AWCON should be scrabbled.

You've not answered my question
How does a tree connect to pinnick been blamed for bulk of the nff lapses

Its like exonerating the bank manager from the bank problems and saying does a tree make a forest.... a leader takes responsibility (blame and praise for his team success or failure)

I don't agree at all with the zoning nonsense. Where else is it done? Does South America try to create ways for Bolivia to make competitions? It goes against everything sports is about.

I do! Women's football is very racist.

She still connected very well so who cares what she pulled back. The referee is not paid to read minds. Was it a dangerous and careless tackle or not?

Reminds of a match between the SF and Germany in the quarter finals of the olympics in Athens 2004. Our keeper then Precious Dede leapt up to catch a floated cross from the German winger. The German forward practically flattened our goalkeeper to head the ball in but the ref looked away. Our Nigerian supporters pa ra sotey dem nearly cause riot. Game was held up for some minutes after that awful call. Honestly if the match had been played in Nigeria the ref will count herself lucky if she didn't chop beating from irate fans.

Might be a tall order is Esther one of the top rated in her division?

IMHO our most realistic chance of getting a medal might be in wrestling especially in the female division. Ese brume the long jumper, Amusan the 100 meter hurdler, maybe and that's a big maybe Blessing Okagbare and our relay teams. Any of our basketball teams getting a medal will be a huge bonus.

We have a chance at medalling this week as Esther Toko will feature in the women's single scull rowing finals. All the best to her!
