LIVE MARKET COMMENT 27 JULY 2021 Today is like the day of the black swam, with many stocks getting hit. However, Chinese stocks seem to be in big trouble, but Government still insisting on unsettling the big techs, what is happening to the Chinese is a taste of the good/bad of Socialism (on the Education side the gist is that Private Educational Institutions will no more charge students for extra classes for the compulsory subjects, extra classes cannot be stopped, Government reason is that Covid has affected the income of the Parents thus the Parents are not to pay for these extra classes, this will substantially reduce the income of the educational Institutions), the reason for the clampdown of tech companies varies from one organization to the other. The above is bad news for Chinese stocks, I cannot imagine the huge price losses by the likes of NIO, XPEV, NIU etc). If prices are falling like this extra cation is needed or we avoid affected Industries. Let us see how tomorrow will go, the market is trying to cancel the big gains of yesterday for some equities? 1 Like

Willie2015:You're right. A strict regulatory procedure has always been there anyway. But then, most times, money is made in times of crisis. I bought $BABA at $180 yesterday. I can comfortably average down from here. $BABA for me is a very long term play. To put things in better perspective, I'm one of the investors who still have $NIO they bought below $3 - $4 in their portfolios! 1 Like |

US STOCK PICKS - MARKET COMMENT FOR 29 JULY Today still looking very risky. Not unusual for a day we are expecting a Fed decision. Today we will avoid buying anything, after the Fed is done we will start looking at the market again. After the Fed decision, we may start considering Bitcoin/defensive stocks/top industries again. One of our dividend target stocks (HMLP) , have own and sell the stock previously, the stock lost 57% for reducing dividend substantially, the surprise is that the loss is substantial for those who are still holding the stock. This is a reminder to us that think once we buy a dividend paying stock we have to hold it forever, for most stock it may be better to sell when it is overbought and buy back when oversold another lesson is that leadership in stock changes, using Nigeria stock example because UAC was best company in Nigetia at one point does not mean it is still a good stock for today when we have the likes of MTN. Let us keep our cool, the fact that we have money in our account does not mean we have to use it, many of us need to learn how to keep cash without the temptation of spending it immediately, until a well planned opportunity arrives (big lesson even outside stock investing, we need to learn to accumulate cash). Not much to talk about again, Fed have the day!!! Our Trading plan blueprint contain some of our Systems, indicators, rules, market nuances etc, will be available from next week. CHUBBY DANIELS: All new investors always ALWAYS ask the wrong questions like: What stocks can I buy today that can give me 50% in three weeks or less? Right question: what stock can I buy and not lose 50% in three weeks or less? By asking the right questions You get into the right tragetory of understanding how the financial markets work and maybe Just maybe You will find the golden formula or the golden stock that will give you 50% in 3 weeks Accidentally investors are not real investors "you've not lost until you sell" has to be one of the greatest lies ever You may have lost the money but you are surely losing your mind which is even more important in the game. MARKET COMMENT 30 JULY Today many portfolios will be tested, prepare for some shaking in ur portfolio, probability of market closing on the downside is high. This is due to the high number of premarket losers compared with gainers. Now maybe time to start moving to stronger stocks, TSLA showed in our scan!!! On a general note Gold, Communication, Transportation, Semiconductors/electronics stocks are showing up in many of our scans like "UMC" full list for whatsApp group. Let us apply caution. Whatever we are buying. We did a stress test for Trove, our money was paid so we can say the platform is okay. We need to watch each other's back on this stress test matter!!!
