Today was a bad day for many portfolios. Again it emphasizes the need for proper diversification.

Profitability and diversification seems to be 2 opposing conditions, but we just have to balance the 2.

Rather than only use Xiaomi devices, buy part of the company.......

Don't only enjoy Buhari's rail networks, buy shares from China railways........

Stop dreaming about Tesla shares, invest BYD or BAIC......

Thanks. Namz. Noted. My comment will now exclude charts or just a chart . Just a comment on the market at the 2nd half of the trading day 16 July. Dollar close to top of the channel, may retrace a little: Gold close to support: Oil close to temporary support. Immediate effect of this is fear going away gradually from the market. We fold our arms and see what will happen early next week.

Equally I am sure when others start posting more useful ideas, my posts following each other concurrently will reduce.

It would be ignorant of me to say my nasdaq/ftse portfolio are not receiving a bashing, but my HSE portfolio, is performing much better, in comparison........

Even in the HSE, chinese stocks are taking the stick. Now if u are talking about Asian stocks, excluding Chinese, that's a different ball game. Emerging markets have been doing well

Market uncertainty continues with Covid 2nd waive now the main culprit. We still need to put our emotion under control, we may have to stay outside the market for so many days, we should not take investing as an everyday affair, we should only trade on favorable days.

Today market likely to be bearish better to stay out of the market. Now as commodities is now part of our game plan against inflation we will be noting the position of some major commodities: Oil is falling: Gold is range bound although in uptrend: Dollar is rising, may retrace slightly and then come for a big up move which will be highly bearish for stocks.

Today is likely to be bearish, we need to wait, let us see how this Monday will close. We are still on BNGO, will only buy after prove move above 6.15

Let us exercise caution in this market, we may have the opportunity to buy more stocks at lower prices soon.
