Buratai visit to benin Republic shows they is a plot between both government to extradite Sunday to Nigeria. Anything that makes that man to be extradited to Nigeria, let's just forget it till this government get the Bleep out in 2023 that when this man will be released. |

No doubt Benin Republic is in a precarious situation right now, Nigeria a big brother is roaring now, dangling both carrot and stick. Either way, Benin Republic Government chooses it has both great benefits and severe consequences. Deport Igboho to Nigeria, the Buhari Government, will ease the nooze around their neck by opening the border and granting more supports both to the Government of Benin and individuals that might facilitate it. But these Borders are mostly in yoruba land. How that trade will safely happen is seriously in down. Yoruba whose large number will frown at these will sure get back at Benin. unlike the Buhari Administration that is less than two years, Benin will incur the wrath of the Yorubas for a long time before the wound heals. Benin have a good number of Yoruba nationals, they are talking, their Government cannot afford to ignore them, Election will soon come, Royals took position on this. Should the Government ignore them to deport their son. It might unsettle their polity. If they free Igboho they would have encouraged greater bonding between the Yorubas in Nigeria and entire Benin Republic. |

ajailer:Just in case u don't know, secession is a bigger crime to any government of any country. It doesn't apply to Nigeria alone. Other criminal activities will only cause internal chaos, but secession will break & if possible end a country. That is how govt. view it, not the way u view it. Nigeria for example, if igbos should break out, yourubas break out, do u think there will be any Nigeria left? By then every other smaller region will also want to break out, govt can't stop them since some have succeeded. No govt. all over the world will tolerate a secessionist. Wait till u see a northern person calling for secession, then u will know how govt. view secessionists. They are the greatest threat to any govt than any other criminal activity world wide. Not only Nigeria alone. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Funny enough, whatever you wish for Igbos come right back to you. The other time it was Kanu and Yorubas laughed, now it's Igboho's turn and Buhari is trying to pit Yoruba and their Benin Republic cousins together. 1 Like |

gbemishile:Exactly! We are too bias & sentimental in this part of the world, reason development is very slow. If we really want to be honest, there is nothing wrong if Benin govt decides to deport him, but they can choose to show clemency considering his situation. But if they choose to deport him, I don't see any conspiracy or connivance with Nigeria govt. there! Because he has committed a crime of wish if not for his secession course, deportation would have been the best punishment for him. At least he could get lighter punishment here if not for the issues he is having with Nigeria govt. So I don't see reasons to blame Benin in all of these. 1 Like |

Rubbiish: Man, you've said it all. I don't know if most people are dumb, or just being sentimental. In this part of the world, if they hate you, no matter the good you do, they won't appreciate it infact they will see it as bad. Why? It is because they chose to. But if you do evil and they love you, they will see that evil as good. We are talking of secession here (breaking the country up), and also treason (when you break the country up, then you try to rule the region you took away from the former government) which no country in the take lightly. Even, Igboho himself won't take it lightly if someone wants to try that with him ( if he were the president of this country) 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Tell me the difference between today's government and the crimes they are fighting and killing people for. Abba Kyari has been caught up in a bribery scandal, Nnamdi Kanu was extraordinarily extradited to Nigeria, now Sunday igboho is being prepared to be forcefully and unlawfully returned to Nigeria in exchange for economic gains to Benin Republic, the reality is that anything is for sale in today's world. I wonder why they are going after the Cyber criminals like Yahoo Yahoo |

Mark my words, Benin Republic will definitely deport Igboho to Nigeria. All the noise their government is making is just to have bargaining power. They will ask Nig govt for something in return. Three weeks after Igboho is deported you'll hear the border has been opened or importation restrictions on certain good has been relaxed 1 Like |
