Yes you may. In fact, you may rent a 500k apartment with a 80k job but I have a personal principle that I learnt from a friend.
If my months salary does not cover for my entire annual payment of an apartment, I'm not taking it.

It's not a hardball rule, it's just personal.



NB - There are few exceptions you may consider. If it bothers on security or if coming from a long distance will affect your job performance or you have side hustles to augment the payment, then you shd take it.

If you can save 20K out of the 80K per month, you will have around 240K after 12 months.

If you can engage yourself in other businesses that can yield more money for you at the end of each month, you could still save up enough to afford that amount of Rent.

So it is very possible.

Well with your #80k let's assume your upkeep without rent included is #50k you can use the #30k digitally earn via online t make @least $1 daily....My 2kobo.....once achieved read below;

Your #250k need for yearly rent means you need to get a side income of #700 daily that's $1.40 daily income...
Let me break it down we have 365 days so if you can make #700 daily it'll cover for that rent amount.
250000 divided by 365 = 685daily which is approximately #700.
