Nigerian soups and stew don't do well on non stick teflon pots. Initially, yes but as time goes on, no.

You can use granite pots( a better non stick alternative) but please stop buying these Teflon pots.

I naturally don't like the city.

If you live outside naija, you will become master in DIY.
Nigerians don't even try. If not for diasporeans that come out with cooking alternatives etc we will still be stuck preparing dishes our ancestors started with. Our comfort zone is something else. We are not adventurous. And this has affected all facets of our lives. We will rather buy spagetti from the market than prepare spag ourselves or make common bread.

We only know how to buy dry fish but we are blessed with the environment to smoke our dry fish ourselves. When madam is busy being madam that will relegate duties to housegirl and oga will be like ' it's unafrican for a man to enter the kitchen'.
