The rear left door of my ML350 W164 was machine-gunning. When the lock button is pressed, all other doors lock except the rear left door, it gives a machine gun sound as if it wants to lock but is triggered back up.

The rewire said he'd need to change the central lock, when I got back. The part he claimed was removed had a part number of an R350 actuator lock A2517660125, and not a W164 ML350.

Now I'm thinking, he didn't replace the lock, he repaired it, charged me for a new one, and dumped a bad R350 lock that probably has been lying in his shop strictly for this purpose. Now I want to ask: Will the part number A2517660125 of a R350 work for a W164 ML350 model?

Isn't the R Class and the W164 essentially the same car?

How do I use Bluetooth to play music for my c300 2010!

That very year for the c300 doesn’t play music over its own Bluetooth

solution

1. I play music from auxiliary cable (my car came with iPod cable so I reworked an aux cable into it myself)

2. I bought those car charger that has “radio frequency over Bluetooth” and use it to play music while I pick call with the Benz Bluetooth cos it’s clearer

3. Do those android screen thing people buy and fix on their cars (I didn’t do this though)

All these are borne out of distrust.
If you know you don't trust him why go to him?

The part he installed, does it work or not?
I try to avoid folks with these kind of character. Very toxic.

This is my first time with this dude, I am only trying to know if he changed or not. Biko, go easy. The thing is I don't think he installed any new part, I think he repaired the problem, then showed me a R350 part as evidence that he installed another lock.

This is a Toks ML350. How did a Toks ML350 come with a part number for the R350. Most of the part numbers on my ML350 starts with A164 not A251. Hence why I think he didn't change the lock, he repaired the machine gun issue, then dumped a dead R350 part so I would believe he actually made a change.

I must say you have trust issues.
Very nasty trust issues. Deal with it.

ML and R wagon shares alot. He may had repaired or replaced faulty part.
I know alot of folks go to junk yard abroad to pick parts to fix their cars. The same could be yours.
Alot of car dealers in Nigeria fix cars when they are imported, same could be yours.

You're missing the point. The ML and R Class are mechanically identical, I wouldn't be surprised if they're the same part, just with different part numbers.

They said I should come ask here. I just got a small boo, a 2013 C300 AWD.

1. Need advice on the best plug for break pads

2. Advice on the best oil to use for the change

3. Original oil filter plug if in the house

4. Do and don’t of the car advise would be highly appreciated

5. Lastly, for the AC can I top up the AC gas or empty it and refil with a new one altogether

Thanks all and God bless you as you help a brother

1. Just look for quality brake pads on the market. I've used Maxistop without issues.

2. Image attached

3. There's an MB filter. Bosch also makes. There's a guy that sells the Bosch one here, can't recall their moniker. Search.

4. Avoid water. Drive slowly in bad roads. Oil change every 6-8k miles at most with quality oil. Don't drive like an asshole, you'll look way cooler pulling up slowly.

5. Mercedes has trash AC performance for the most part. Unless you're low on refrigerant, leave it as it is.

Thanks bro and good to see your ride too smiley

On number one, I spoke to to this guy in Ladipo. He said the original break pads is 30k

2 thanks for the image on mobile 1, will just make sure I get the original.

3 I will search for the person that sells the filter. Please if you have a post I can check him through please refer.

4 thanks for the heads up on water iss

5 So the AC works now but the gas is low. I spoke to someone who advised I empty the gas and replace with a new one but someone also said I should just top up. It’s very confusing.

Thank for the comment, appreciate it.

After scanning my C300 4matic it brings this code . Any help?

Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by DAVE5(m): 9:24pm On Aug 06, 2021
Please guys and ladies in the house, can anyone proffer a solution to “Tire pressure monitor inoperative”

Initially changed 3 tires, then i got the message, gaged tires to see if it would solve it, no luck, scanned car, error message said 3 sensors out of 4 were having miscommunication, so I removed all four tires, checked each of the tire pressure sensor, copied out the ID number, rescanned, programmed and inputted them on a system, error message clear, drove about 30 minutes and error popped up again

Car type: 08 c300

Recently, I bought myself a Mercedes-Benz E-class (W211). For a long time I was looking for such a car. Within a year I had invested 50% of the price. And now it came to the choice of rims. I really wanted to buy black amg rims, but it is very difficult to find good condition rims. That's why I decided to order new rims, because Henry Ford said that the appearance of the car adds exactly the rims. So, I took my order and ordered a new rims. I will be sure to show you when they come, how they will look on my car.

Dude you don't obviously like Benz. That's fine. Why not get the Fvck outta this thread. I even prefer to ride a 190E Benz to that old rickety company owned Hilux whose engine has been ringed twice that you drive.
You are also a Drunkard.
