Yesterday night I mistakenly splashed water on my system (Dell Latitude) and instantly I cleaned the water.
This morning I used the system and it was in perfect condition until it started misbehaving. It has refused to turn on all this while after showing the blue screen.
Whenever I hit the ON button, the fan keeps rolling but the system doesn't come on and after some minutes, the fan stops and it goes off.
Please what could be the solution?

Mistakenly water has entered thru the motherboard and that's the cause maybe you will bring it for examination so I can help you heat out the water to stop future damage on the components

Yesterday I decided to fix the mouse wires well which I did and then screwed up the laptop. Plugged it,only to notice that it wasn't coming up again. Hello everyone, so here's what happened. I'm running a windows and ubuntu dual boot on my HP probook 640 G1. I left my laptop on sleep in windows and about 30 minutes later when I came back, it was on (dark screen) and the fan was spinning like crazy. I tried putting it off by holding the power button for long, didn't work so I removed the battery. I thought that was the end of it until I put the battery back about a minute later. It came on again (on its own) and the fan continued spinning. I removed the battery again then I plugged in the charger, logged in to windows and I shut down. After this I removed the charger and put the battery back in, didn't come on on its own, so I thought that was the end of it. The issue now is my batteries (2, including the spare) no longer charge even though its "plugged in". It just stays at the percentage it was but it discharges when the laptop isn't plugged in. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the battery drivers. It's the same issue on Ubuntu too, just plugged in, percentage not increasing but reducing when not plugged in. Help.

issues common with hp system, allow the battery to discharge all the way down and plug in the charger and restart the system, it should now show plug in charging. if it doesn't, you might try to get and test with anothet charger

it can not be repaired, the engineer will only have to change the damage speaker to any other supported or compatible speakers, but if there is a faulty hp pavillion g6, meant for parts, the speakers will be salvage from it into your own. like 3k or 4k for the cost.

The overheating has nothing to do with the battery, your pc need servicing.

You can still manage the battery since it is part of the cell that is swollen, just start saving for a new battery though cos over time the performance will start dropping.

At the battery indicator is plug in charging or plug in not charging?

If your laptop power switch is connected to a flex, check and see if the flex didn't pull out when you were coupling it back.
