Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by livinsoul: 10:57pm On Aug 02, 2021 |
livinsoul:Apparently, this cooked; "PORTAL UPDATE There is a new innovation in NOUN. All students must pass all their courses in a previous level before he/she moves to the next level, no more registration of courses ahead of your normal level. Furthermore, if the student is in 200 level, All courses in 100 level and 200 level will be displayed. Student must pass all the courses before the next level 300 is displayed. The implication is that if you have pending 100 and 200 level courses that you are yet to pass or register, even your carryovers you must clear them first before 300 level and above will display in your portal for onward registration." |

Hello everyone, I am interested in running a PGDE programme with NOUN but I have a few questions that I need answers to, pls oblige me. My questions: 1. Are classes held on weekdays or weekends; also are they compulsory, or a person can decide not to attend classes and just self-study? 2. Are exams (pen on paper preferred) held on weekdays or weekends? 3. Is there any part of the programme that would require some weekdays attendance? I am asking because I work weekdays, and getting time off is usually difficult, but my weekends are free. Pls advise. Thanks. |

agatha360: You can start on your own if you meet the requirements and have the necessary documents. You can start online and then visit the study centre later. |

Ezeanna: 1. There are no classes. You study on your own. 2. Exams for PGDE are Pen on Paper except for one or two courses. Exams are held on weekdays and weekends except Sundays. 3. No attendance is required except occasional visits to the study centre. 1 Like |
