The Yoruba are protecting their own while wishing Nnamdi Kanu is hanged and will not accept that MNK the every step taken so far on him is wrong.
Those wishing him hanged are the stupid ones amongst us. What I don't like is the silence of igbo leaders on Kanu's case. I hate them with passion as a yorubaman. They're never united.

Look, Ghana is more preferable now than what your uncle buari turned this country to. A year ago, I wasn’t having this kind of discussion on Nairaland but e don reach my neck, e don dey choke me. Too much injustice, nepotism, too much lies and false hope, unfulfilled promises to the masses, I spent my resources for Buari first term but man we must face reality and stop supporting nonsense. If your master buari is doing well, Igboho will never be popular like this...Support your own so far he’s not done anything closer to what your bandits and boko haram is doing. Let there be fairness and equity....don’t mention me again on this matter. Thanks

It is People like you who pushed Igboho into his present predicament, by singing "a o m'erin joba, ewe ku ewele" for him.
Even if he gets asylum in Benin, it is still a loss for him. You guys dont know that asylum is the younger brother of imprisonment.

You said Igboho stirred the hornets nest ? Who are the hornets? The Fulanis ? Please explain. It is good that these things are happening in the lifetime of Obasanjo, Akinrinade, Alabi-Isama and others. Though they are very old, it is good it is happening in their lifetime.

Professor Wole Soyinka should engage the Yorubas in Diaspora as well. Prof is also very old.

You are not saying the truth or you don't know the truth. In my own church as a Yoruba man in Yoruba land, we pray for the two of them.
We realize that Fulani herders are a common enemy. Let Igbo leaders also do what Yoruba leaders are doing.
In his trial MNK, I trust Yoruba lawyers, if given right of fellowship, would render selfless services,
We southerners need freedom, don't preach that tribal gospel here.

Why has the USA... who invaded Afghanistan in 2001 and claimed they defeated the Taliban been there over 20 years?

And why is that now ... battle weary as their troops withdraw the Taliban have begun recapturing full provinces?

When you know the answer to the question please shout “hallelujah... I finally know a fact about international conflict, politics and posturing

Such a stupid question... invading Sambisa

Keep your silly mouth shut.

The US invaded Afghanistan and occupied for 20 years to get Osama and get they did. Why can't your Buhari also invade Benin and Sambisa and capture Igboho and Shekau.

You're just as foolish as they come

Bro, this has nothing to do with buhari. Did igboho mention buharis name at all during his secession rally? This is just a case of rule of law.
It is a treasonable offense sir, I don’t know how u view it bro but igboho is wrong sir. Let’s b factual, I’m Yoruba and I want a better naija, truth is he did it in a wrong way.
People bigger than him had tried it in d past and we’re also meted same treatment if not worse

I didn't hear you mention what offense it was when fulanis where killing people all over the SW. Or do you think you know better than Akeredolu, Ooni and now Obasanjo who have all stood up in defence of Igboho.

His methods may be wrong but get this straight, he's fighting a very just war.

When those who are supposed to act refuse to, those who can act will. Life is sacred to we Yorubas and it is better to be alive and separated than be bound to Nigeria and die like chickens in our own land all because Fulani want to rear cows

ROC - Republic of China (Taiwan -former China)

PRC - Peoples republic of China (China we know of today)

Jeez!

Republic of China is different from Russian Olympic committee .

You see how daft you are?

If you do not know the basic difference Between PRC and ROC then How Tha fuuuuccck can I TEACH you about how these alphabets relate to National security and Sovereignty.

I’m a well educated , well employed southerner living quite well.

Who are you? An ignorant Nairalander taking advantage of cheap data to display his/her idiocy ... you probably can never secure gainful employment without help from this “quota system” you so deride

You're more stupid than I imagined. Taiwan or ROC or whatever has been refused status of a full sovereign country in the wider international community all because of China
Russia invaded Crimea. True or false. Nobody asked you for history.

If it's based on history you want to argue, you should know that Yorubas were never part of Nigeria until the British decided otherwise which makes Igboho and Kanu's agitations more solid than that of Nigeria's hold over both regions.

As I asked you, if Nigeria was that strong and sovereign, why have we not invaded Benin and get Igboho out, or better still, why couldn't we get Shekau who mocked, decimated and held a territory bigger than Belgium hostage on our own soil?

It's always easy to chase the small rats.

Get a brain. Your education is a waste with this zombeism you're exhibiting

You are so funny. Igboho didn't use any wisdom, rather he chickened out, while abandoning his supporters in the struggle. He lacked the capacity to confront the professionally trained DSS. He even abandoned his fake charm cloth. He just ran away

During Obasanjo's regime as a civilian president, Asari Dokibo agitated for a Niger Delta Republic. This same hypocrite called Obasanjo locked him up in DSS detention facility in Abuja. The same person is busy undermining his own country and another person's government on the same fact. Obasanjo has a history of doing to others what he would never tolerate.

It is a fact that this same Afenifere never supported Obasanjo. They saw him as a traitor to the Yoruba cause. But today, he has suddenly become the father of Africa. What we all should realise is the fact that loving our country is the beginning of taking a concrete step protect our security.

Quite an intelligent post. In addendum, the people have forgotten that in the current mix of things, OBJ is a featherweight. Buhari is the President and the commander in chief of the armed forces. Who do you think Beninoise govt will reckon with?

The kings you are all mentioning lack power in their states, not to talk across border. The constitution has packed them to one corner. Read carefully, they sent delegate to just "observe" the proceedings and nothing more. They can't influence anything.

If OBJ was in power, he would have arrested all these agitators long time ago. Have you all forgotten what happened in Odi?
