You pay tax to load airtime to ur phone then u pay another tax to make a phone call with same airtime. You pay vat for everything and vat increases everyday then somehow u have to create ur own portable water system, u use generator for power and boys gather to fill up pothole. The imbe*cile talking does not have a comprehensive medical insurance I'm sure. Dont u think u need a rethink this time.

That guy is a mumu with balls. He made the internet space know how stupid a man can be, and he did it with all commitment!

Let's restructure this country into regions and let each region choose their leaders.

It is unfair that the SE that saw buhari's cluelessness and rejected him at the polls are suffering for his incompetence with those that chose to be blind or voted him out of tribal sentiments.

you dont want to pay tax on anything and you want to develop, you cant eat your cake and have it. It is time Nigeria know that they have to pay realistic price for most essential amenities, go to any developed country they live by tax. What you need is to hold your leader accountable
Are standard of living and unemployment level the same in Nigeria and in the developed countries? Why bring them in when the dynamics are different?

We want to pay tax, but there is no transparency in how the money is being spent.

If you can't trust your leaders with all the free trillions from oil, how can you trust them with money from tax? A country without a functional law shouldn't ask for tax.

If you squander the school fees your dad gave you on women, there is a high chance you'll spend the ones your mom added as extra you on drinks.

After looting the treasury dry, the political class refuse to cut their expenditures and bogus salaries instead impose several number of taxes on the poor masses that is still suffering from years of neglect when the country was rich.

With Nigeria having immense amounts of gas of its own, this is a very good development, and I hope a new vat rate of 50% is what is imposed, because local production of gas is not only much cheaper, it would provide local employment too.
A good development?
What kind of comment is this

I'm sorry, but it is your fault if you allow yourself to be deceived, since you could have easily educated yourself to be undeceiveable.

Hopefully, you would have learnt not to be deceived by the next election instead of hoping deceivers wouldn't deceive you.
You guys should just shut up with this narrative already, who was going to unseat Buhari then? Atiku? Make we hear word jareh.

This is FALSE.

Most Nigerians have lost faith in the government and see life as suffering and smiling, especially the elderly ones.

People just go out there to struggle for themselves and never depend on the government. Nobody cares about the government.

That's why the guys are proudly taking to internet fraud and the ladies are massively going into packaged prostitution.

Whatever they hoped to gain by removing the vat will be lost and government will lose more . People will revert back to kerosene and firewood . Anything to reduce cost .
If the government is serious , they should give new investors in local gas some tax breaks or equipment importation duty waivers . Let the local production reach a reasonable point of sustaining a part of our LPG demand then the country can return the taxes .
