This school matter for Nigeria no add up at all. Imagine a school couldn't admit half of the total number who sort admission there. And even the 12k so admitted will be scrambling for space and other facilities.

God help us.

This one still small compare to University of ibadan (UI). UI will admit only 4k+ out of 60k+ candidates that choose her.
UI na madder of them all, ask anybody.

Well, the right question should be 'must everyone go to University?'

You see, it's not a must for everyone to go to university but everyone MUST go to school at least to a level that would enable him be able to read and write and be fluent in the official language of his country (that is, speak good English).


In this modern age, not being able to, at least read and write is worse than being blind because there would be so many things you won't be able to do or understand by yourself; somebody must always be there to explain things to you and guide you and some dishonest people would take advantage of your illiteracy to cheat or scam you!

So my friend, good education remains the best legacy parents can give to their children.
