a woman is not a man is common sense not feminism . Feminism argues for equality of every human irrespective of gender . Not that a man is a woman or vice versa

You question when he deviate and most especially learn to pray to God for him to retrace his steps not challenging him which will to result abuse. Wisdom is profitable to direct.
jesusjnr2020:
Some women who God has used to greater effect as Smith Wigglesworth's wife actually questioned their husband when he had strayed from the faith and began to demand things of her that were not of God.

She told him that he was her husband but that Jesus was her Lord!

That was the saving grace of the husband as he was hence restored back to the faith, and would never play with his wife afterwards. That's probably why we hardly have women of such such spiritual calibre these days, because they have made their husbands to take the place of God as the Lord and Master of their lives, hence God cannot use them for much because He cannot share His position with any man.

Moreover, the wife of Abraham questioned her husband concerning Hagar and her son Ishmael, that it was said to have grieved Abraham much, but God told him to hearken to his wife's voice.

Genesis 21:12 (KJV)

And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

So you can actually see that even though it's what men love to hear, this saying of a woman not questioning her husband and being demonic is not of God but of men.

God bless

Feminism is not saying a woman is biologically equal to a man - a man is not biologically equal to a woman either - but that a woman is equally important in existence to a man and so should have the same exact rights as man has for existing too. undecided

1. Does it need to be the only curse before it can be addressed by God? undecided

2. That is also addressed by Jesus Christ.

3. Also addressed by Jesus Christ

4. Again, also taken care of by Jesus Christ.

5. Jesus Christ did redeemed even those women who will wholly submit to, and obey only Him, from that curse. undecided

6. That men chose to cling to existing still in a cursed state, this in disobedience to Jesus Christ's own commandment, has nothing to do with Jesus Christ but with men. - John 6 vs 25 - 39

7. Adam's marriage began when God created Eve as His mate and declared marriage in Genesis 2 vs 24
you were the one claiming Christ has redeemed us from the curses of our first parents!!! For your point 6, do you mean that men deliberately choose to t toil for their daily bread and women deliberately induce pain on themselves during childbirth?? I don’t understand your point. For your point 7, go search and read the book of Adam and Eve for better understanding. It’s part of the lost books of the Bible

Even though Jesus Christ made it clear that marriages are not of His Kingdom, but of this world, they continue to install themselves as marriage counselors in the name of God.

Marriage was in place before the curse showed up so equality in marriage is not against God but as God created it to be. undecided

After the curse came in however, woman was cursed, condemned by God to be ruled over by man and perish in the end - cease to exist / return to dust when she dies!

However, through Jesus Christ all who believe in Him, including women, are saved from this condemning curse(all those who live under the curse perish much like Adam), and are made equal members of the Kingdom of God. undecided

Sadly, your Mogs have no knowledge of this and so continue to preach lies as sermons in the name of God. undecided

How are you sure that part of the scripture is true?

Ordinary question you can't answer. I'm supposed to go on Google and use feminism definitions that doesn't suit the Nigerian context to understand feminism?

Girl you don't even have electricity, 80 percent of your population can't feed properly, education is low in comparison to advanced countries yet western feminism is the goal.

Two things to address in your response,
1. You say this "curse" of the husband ruling over a wife ceases to exist because of the death of Jesus Christ, how come the other curse to the woman of pain during child birth has not been nullified? Or once a woman believes in Jesus, child birth becomes pain free? You can't be selective when applying scriptures.
Secondly, the curse to the man "You will have to work hard all your life for the food the ground produces." is also not nullified through the death of Jesus Christ. You will agree that generally man still needs to work hard to provide for his family even till today.

You also seem to ignore several passages in the new testament (after Christ's death) where the husband is still recognized as the head of the wife. Does it mean the writers of those passages forgot the effect of Christ's death? It simply does not apply that way madam.
For reference - I Cor 11:3, Ephe 5:23 - 25

2 You talk about Equality. I really wonder why "Submission" is being equated to "Inequality". those have totally separate meanings.

We are all equal in the sight of God, no doubt. However, that does not mean there is no head?
Example - In our secular work places, we likely have a boss who gives instructions and the employees submit to those guidelines. You can give advise to your boss as applicable but the final decision rests with the boss (may be right and may not be). That is authority & headship. In all of these, your boss does not see you as less of a human being or not equal to him. Yet for order to reign, there is a hierarchy in the organization. the same applies to the family. We are all one and equal in Christ but the family has a head who is the husband.

Hope the above helps clarify some of your misconceptions.

2. Yes, that is exactly what it means. undecided

And who told you feminist are setting women against their husbands, the woman has every right to complain if she is no longer comfortable with the back seat arrangement there is always a room for improvement and modification where necessary.

We all know that in some Christian marriages some men are mere figure heads on paper. wink cheesy anyway e nor concern me. if I was a Christian woman I would never get married grin

If she is no longer comfortable in the backseat ? Then she should get out . It’s against Christian family values .You just confirmed what I said feminism is setting up women against their husbands in Christian marriages. Hence the high divorce rates and why the church must stand against feminism in Christian marriages .
If the man is ok with it, no problem . A functional family is to the advantage of the society .

Lol . Then you can never dream of being a Muslim if you want marriage .
My point is Feminists must stop pushing their agenda into Christian marriages . They are responsible for some broken marriages that were otherwise fine

Wife to the General Overseer and President of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Faith Oyedepo has flayed feminist groups in a fresh social media post.

The woman of God in her post said any woman or women’s organization which attempts to question the position of the man in the family should be regarded as being under the influence of demons.

Oyedepo’s wife said this in a post on her verified Facebook page.

The renowned pastor’s wife said women should be in subjection to their husbands in everything.

Her post read:

Mrs Faith Oyedepo did not say you cannot question your husband. She said you should not question the position of the man in the family.

t is not God's commandment , but God's curse that had a woman submitting to a man. That is what that write up was meant to help you see. jesus Christ came to remove that curse from all those women who will instead submit to and obey His teachings and commandments. Meaning no longer are they subject to men but are made equal to them and this in the Kingdom of God. undecided

The new covenant Law, jesus Christ, declared that He alone is Head & Master over each person who belongs to Him. And He also condemned the serving of two masters. - Matthew 23 vs 7 - 10

What is written in Ephesians obviously goes against jesus Christ, God's new covenant Law, when it suggests that women are to submit/worship their husbands proclaiming that husbands are heads, this again against jesus Christ's own decree, over their wives. undecided

So when a husband and his wife obey what is written in Ephesians, they actually do so against jesus Christ and so are not of Him. undecided

Abeg, let people of Christ go and rest abeg. The entire world does not revolve around the tenets of Christianity. Only 30% of the world is Christian (and much less if you consider those who are actually religious). We have China who India who have done marvelously without any of this.
