Re: BBNaija Vs Educational System In Nigeria (Photos) by GeneralPula: 12:28pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
HalpyBee: There’s a reason for comparison. First class graduates deserves great honors... You may never understand until your son becomes first class graduates someday with just #20,000 reward.. USA that you people do praise for having a good educational system isn’t like this. They have tons of reality shows and still their educational system, they don’t joke with it.. |

kenddys:its senseless people like you that keep this nation backward. You are very myopic and will never see the bigger picture. If private sector adequately invests in educative programs, more jobs will be created, more inventions will see the light of the day, more technologies will be birthed, a lot of problems will be solved. What problem does bbnaija solve if not marketing prostitutes. What talent does it promote. What do the populace gain from it. If patricia invests 2 billion naira into young inventors club with the aim of encouraging students who have capacity to invent sloutions to some technological problems but lack the finance, you think that wont be win win for all? 1 Like 1 Share |

Its more about the people than the leaders and it also speaks about the level of our inteligence, maturity and priority of this generation. What you give attention multiplies and what you ignore dies. When you open a business the more people petronize you, the more you think of buying in large quantity and opening another branch, it also speak about he level of our emotionally inteligence, hence the saying "looking good is good business" how does your look benefit anyone? because majority petronize your look than what you bring to the table.Just compare what we called comedy now to Night of a thousand laugh, and the lyrics of todays music to what we have before, then tell me how listening to such everyday grow your inteligence. And tell me, the level of inteligence invoved in glo ads. 1 Like |

I don't know why people keep comparing educational system with bbnaija, both are not he same. Bbnaija is a competition to win a price while education is human development. Not making excuses for government not to fix education sector 1 Like |

Whoever typed this does not have sense. Schooling is not the same as education. You can go through school without becoming educated. The Nigerian society is the best example of that. BbNaija is someone's idea and people like it. You should go get an idea that people would spend hours on. Now, run along with your envy and jealousy. Go put your brain to work. Schooling is not the same as education. I had to repeat that for emphasis. Not going to school doesn't make you uneducated. Going to school does not make you educated. Education is a personal journey. This thread shows that our society lacks depth. No thinkers, just some dumb conformists all over the place. No wonder we have so much terrorism because our people have the mind of sheep |

Wiseandtrue: If you do ur findings very well and without being prejudice You will know that federal government is sponsoring thousands of masters and PhD students in any university of their choice all over the world. What about residency training for medical doctors.....it's only in Nigeria that is been done all over the world and most pathetic about it, after training them, they run to advanced countries to render their skill that federal government sweat to sponsor. Telling stories the way it's also determine the type of personalty you carry |

Jerryherd: Environment matters What do you mean by graduate like him Were all the necessary equipment and technology available to develop the games It is an environment where ideas are appreciated ideas will come Even if ideas come just go to CBN and ask for loan first or any bank and see what they go take your eye see How easy is it to get entrepreneur grant or aid in Nigeria to develop business ideas See if there were giving 200,000 Nigerian graduates 2 million each after nysc you will see the difference in the country no need for analysis sef Please stop saying graduates like him abeg Nigerian youths are talented not just book wise sef just provide the right conditions abd see if we don't deliver |

Wiseandtrue: The bolded is the reason I don't completely condemn shows like BBNAIJA. The world, obviously, is multi-falceted of which the entertainment sector is a part. Therefore, if those who, by talent, by induction, by training etc have chosen to promote what is business presence dominance do so, what the Bleep is wrong with it? Those in the education arena should also do the needful. Things like BBNAIJA and the rest must exist for the world to be a complete place. |

Wiseandtrue: I believe the educational sector needs more sponsorship from both the private and public sector. To answer you question; 1. Sponsorship is all about exposure and marketability of these platforms. BBn is viewed africawide, the sponsorship offers a platform for brands to market their services and announce their brands. The reason being that entertainment is easily gratifying and have a large following. Same applies to football like Afcon, World cup, champions league etc. 2. Secondly speed of returns. Brands we favour any platform that brings a massive increase in their brand reach and returns faster than the long term. For example, sponsoring a Best graduating student will mot fetch you any return in the next 10 years, where as sponsoring BBN may increase your market value by using stars as part of your brand ambassador. 3. Finally, Sponsorship can be considered a capital market investment where as sponsoring education comes under corporate social responsibility. One is business the other is charity, made mandatory by law. 1 Like 1 Share |

Wiseandtrue: Infact, must they give best graduating students monetary award? Everything shouldn't be money at all times. Ordnary standing ovation is good atime If you know that, why are you now complaining about BBN sponsorship ? Must everybody face education alone ? ......as if the education yield anything tangible for Nigerians. |
