I tried flashing the phone and I chose the clean all option in the flash tool and it was successful. However, the problem still persists. I don't know what's wrong. Could it be a hardware fault?

welcome to the family, during ur first update u will have to manually reboot ur phone, and it may take a little while to come up do not fret, it was only the first update i experienced that others have been normal
