Good morning guys and happy Sunday to you all. I really need help and past experience of loan apps defaulters here.

The thing is, my sister cousin borrowed 29k from 3 loan apps (with interest) and all will due this week. Now, she's really afraid and being down since yesterday because for now, no means of paying back.

She's really afraid of blackmailing her through her contacts and most importantly, BLACKLISTING her bank accounts (one of them vowed to blacklist her BVN. That she will not have access to her bank accounts)

She emailed one of the apps that she will pay next week Friday, but it seems that even complicated the issue because the guy said, "if dey born her well, make she no pay on or before the due date".

Please share your experience because she's really down and my words are not helping at all.

She has to raise cash for at least the closest payment, the reapply to pay the next and same for the third that will buy her time to look for money. The embarrassment no be here

The only loan apps that can actually make you regret not paying your loan by reporting your bvn to the credit bureau and blacklisting your account are...
Carbon.....fairmoney....branch....palmpay..
Apart this ones I know off...
The rest are all owned by greedy china organizations in nigeria... TRUST they can't do anything apart from embarrassing you.. Yes they will really embarrasse you to the point you Will get frustrated (but if you are someone who doesn't give a f##k ) you will definitely overcome....

those china organizations are not registered by the credit bureau in nigeria...

Credit score...most of them will tell you they Will check your credit score,to determine the amount of loan you can be given..
They only check your messages, specifically your bank details to see if you are credit worthy... that's what they (but if you really want to know your credit score, kindly download the carbon application,there in the app you can check your actual credit score)

If it's those useless sokoloan and co....the only thing should should worry abt are the calls and nasty text messages....if she has the stomach to handle it...asides from that, dey can't do shingbain with her bvn or acct details... except to autodebit her acct via the atm anytime money enters the acct.

Issues like this are becoming rampant, some Nigerian without iron hands won't pay back but this loan shark are something else, there interest is way over the moon, and they are grossly uncultured

The only apps left on my phone are carbon, branch and Palmcredit...and it's strictly of miscellaneous emergencies.
The remaining I have long ago uninstalled.. though dey still send me msgs with bonus coupon for "fast loans of 100k"..
Experience has taught me better..

1. Change her debit card pin.

2. Upload a status telling everyone "latest scam", a message will be sent to you concerning a debt of a loved one. Delete and block them, it's a new method to make you transfer money etc, just garnish it

Your cousin lacks integrity, if not why will she take loans from 3 different organisations without having any clear-cut plans on how she will repay the loans!

The loan apps too are worst. My cousin just told me this morning that she tried to pay one of the apps when she had money but it was not successful. She tried many times not until someone told her that the app did that so they can add some few due amounts. And second one, she didn't complete nor submitted the form but she woke up to alert on her phone and when she logged in, she already saw repayment amount with large interest. That one is Ajeloan. She didn't even put her card o.

Story! I've already told her to pay the last one she took because they are very straight forward but that Ajeloan and the other one she tried to pay when she had the money but was declined, I won't let her pay that. Is that clear?

And you see that Ajeloan nonsense, they can remove the money from her account whenever she has the money in her account....Shebi na app wey allow her put card details dey remove money. In fact, they can remove as many times as they like
