Subsidy must go completely that refinreis will be profitable and work well

Not this partial removal. So long as government controls the price there is a subsidy

The average Nigerian doesn’t own a car, so we have been subsidising the rich at the expense of the poor who are denied well needed investment in things like education, healthcare and infrastructure.

It will be hard in the short term but the populace would start to see the many benefits in the medium to long term. We are wasting too much scare resources for on this subsidy and there is too much corruption involved with smuggling of our PMS to neighbouring countries where PMS is sold at higher prices.
Na so una take say very soon things go take shape when Buhari took over, it's now six years down the road and things are only getting worse.

We don't care if it's 500. We'll survive. All Nigerians are rich and that's they voted for a wicked man.

That is the lesson I learned about subsidy under GEJ regime that finally opened my eyes and made me see how bad it was ten years ago.

Sadly most Nigerians are yet to see that

aaah....no be African country I dey reason oh.

Na western world make sense pass..... Venezuela or Colombia
Venezuela sells fuel at the equivalent of N40

And as a result they don't have money to spend on fixing or repairing their refinreis and other petroleum industry equipment. So it is all broken down.

And they smuggle fuel to Colombia where fuel sells above N300 per liter.

And both counties have very poor people. Some parts are just as bad as Nigeria

Have you take your time to know what their minimum wage is

You prefer countries where petrol is sold for over N400? Nigeria is currently one of the few countries in the world where petrol is sold for under N300.

You zombies don't think. The average Nigerian doesn't own a car BUT every Nigerian has a generator that needs to be powered by fuel as we provide electricity for ourselves.

It will be hard in the short term but the populace would start to see the many benefits in the medium to long term. We are wasting too much scare resources for on this subsidy and there is too much corruption involved with smuggling of our PMS to neighbouring countries where PMS is sold at higher prices.
Tell me one policy implemented by this worthless regime that has ever worked, short term or long term? The government shutdown borders because they claimed PMS was smuggled. How did that work? Aside a hike in commodities and inflation, what other benefit did that thoughtless policy yield? You're still talking about PMS being smuggled, when border was shut down for almost a year.

Keep fooling yourselves.

Bold of you to assume this irresponsible government will reinject the excess funds into the economy. You’re holding this government to an astronomical standard.
