You need to contact the airline you intend flying with and find out their boarding rules at the moment. Unpredictable times.

These rules change every time. First hand information is key.

Yes, i agree with you.

I have even cancelled my reservation. I have no urgent need to travel. Too much stress involved these days. When traveling be prepared for at least 3 covid tests (assuming it's only one country you are visiting).

Wow it’s like France does not take time in processing visa. Biometrics on Tuesday , visa out on Friday.

I was given 6 months, shocked though cus all my schengen visas have been less than a month.

First timers dont get that fast due to verifications.

Thank you for the quick response.

Please this 2 to 3 weeks does it start counting when you are given the visa OR the date you choose to travel to France.

Assuming I want to travel to France around Dec and I apply around September, and put that I will like to travel around December, will my visa start counting around December or from the day I apply? Thank you for your response.

They will give you a start date on the visa which will fall around your travel date . So your visa will start around December

To me selling visa is fraudulent
well, people can't wait to see "sorry your visa has been denied" or wait in behind a long list for weeks and not be sure of getting it and with the exodus happening now, people with some cash prefer to fast track, even in hospitals Etc, there are tables set up for fast track, if you have the power you can use it.
That's the way of our world
That's the program.
