@op, the several spots on that ampit suggests over usage of shaving sticks (ss). Or maybe shaving sweaty surface with over used ss.
A pharmacist should be able to help.

It's a normal boil but the ampit boil can be very painful because, it wouldn't allow you move your hands freely
