Yes i get you. By that i meant it is still too early to assess.

I believe he will work well with Bruno, Pogba, Greenwood and Cavani. Even AWB will look better as their understanding improves. He is a willing passer and AWB is a willing runner. It might not be Sancho/Hakimi but the right side will definitely improve.

Our problem is in the 2 holding midfield roles. I take no pleasure in saying neither McTominay nor your man are good enough. We move the ball through midfield like we are rolling a boulder up a hill. The sensible move would be to get a proper CDM and/or give VDB a shot but the man in charge has blinders on.

Won't be surprised if wolves score their first season's goal against ole.

That’s why I referred to Pep’s Barca. The player fouled should stay down wriggling in ‘pain’, while his teammates surround the referee in protest.

The referee might initially think it’s not a foul, but the fouled player staying down will make him rethink.

Refs are always under pressure, especially in matches involving big teams like United. So their decisions can be influenced with the right approach.

Bruno just jumped up, effectively making it seem like he wasn’t fouled. And remember that if a player builds a reputation of diving, Refs usually take note.

It is like you didn't see what happened, Bruno stayed on the ground, our players for a second felt that the referee had awarded a foul, I too, but as play continued the ref seemed not to give a fuvk, hence why the goal took our players by surprise, it was after the goal Bruno rushed and barked at the refree, I expected VAR to have a look, but it seems VAR doesn't interfer with play that much this season.

That was a blantant foul, imagine awarding that goal in a final.

Ole knows what to do but won't do it just so he has an excuse at the end of the season.

Come next season, they will need to buy a striker and 2 midfielders. After which Ole will say it will take time for the news players to settle, in the process asking for more time...The board will duly oblige...

United didn't win the game because we played with 10 men for majority of it. In fact we played with 7 men in the first half, and 10 up till the point Martial left the pitch.
I'm still not sure why we purchase players and give them bench roles.

True. Ole’s the reason we didn’t win that match. It didn’t even have to go to extra time.

Surprisingly, Villarreal even played better against Chelsea, compared to the United game. I expected Tuchel to give them the Arsenal treatment

Never said it was a valid excuse, no matter how you look at it, it affected our game.
