I hate Taliban but its not Taliban that did this. Al Qaeda is a sworn enemy of the Taliban and they were trying to set the United States against the Taliban. So far, the Talibans have cooperated with the US and they wont want to upset the apple cart. Talibans are bent on taking full ownership of their country and airfield by 31st August, and they wont want to do anything that will push that date forward.
