I think the issue is also about not knowing how to use Pogba. He has been moved all over the place. This seems like a trial-and-error approach. The other time he was a winger, today he's playing along side Fred. Nextweek he might play as a defender.

The midfield is very important for a team that wants to dominate. If the team is creating plenty chances and solid in midfield, an average striker can do a good job.

We all know Pogba functions well on the left, be it as a midfielder or attacker, plus if given a free role. We would have to stick with LCM if we want to get the best from our attackers or play them at all.

Bruno can do AM, no free role, let him stay and help the attackers. Ronaldo as 9, Green on the left, Sancho on the right.
