Truth is, you can also rev your engine with cruise control when you push that stick up gently, your vehicle accelerates and maintains the km/h at whatever point you stop, same thing happens when you push the stick down, your vehicle decelerates. Cruise control can only work on highways and on major roads where you can do 40km/h and above. Also, stepping on the brake pedal at any point, deactivates the cruise control, so you need to resume once you go above 40km/h to reactivate it.

Yea...the stick basically works like a pedal when u switch to cruise control. I am surprised people don't know this

How can one even think of using the cruise control on the 3rdMB is the bridge that long and free? The only place I feel is ideal to use it is like
Lag- Ibadan, Immidiately after redeemtion camp
Ore-Benin, the moment you enter the completed portion of the road
And other long distance routes with minimal bends, gallop and potholes.

Personally self me I don't like it because it can make one sleep off. Driving on a smooth road alone can make one sleep let alone your legs being idle for some minutes.

Offcourse u can use it on third mainland bridge, long stretch, smooth road. I do that everytime when I am against traffic or weekends... the road is free. Just maintain 80/100kmph and u will not even need to step on d breaks throughout. Just switch lane when u approach a slower car.

Uniform Constant acceleration saves gas more than when u d leave pedal and accelerate again intermitently or continuous increasing acceleration.
Cruise control will help u achieve the former without stress while d latter will most likely happen if u r driving on thirdmainland bridge when there is no traffic. Cruise control is only useful when travelling or driving on high speed on a free and long stretch of road.
Then the result will be the same for any type of car, not only hybrids. It's also possible to maintain steady speed without cruise control so cruise control saving more fuel depends on the type of driver. For someone like me there will hardly be any difference

And just fold your legs or do whatever with it, asides pedalling...save the energy for when you get back on a busy road. Been using it since 2010 (Pencil light Camry), Had to do some deep reading before using.

It's the first thing I look out for whenever I need to do long distance on a random car. Some cars have buttons on the steering, instead of a stick.

I saw the video and everything the young man said is true he was just unfortunate.

I learnt he was dismissed... I hope his superiors were not left out because they're the real thieves. Wicked set of people.

As a matter of fact... No traffic or police warder has the right to the drive someone's car but what do I even know...like we have right in this country. Stu.pid country.

Yes, he talked about the cruise control in a Hybrid car, saying when it is activated, car drives only on batteries.

That's okay. There are probably alot of things I do not know about on cars too, we learn everyday...

Its so unfortunate, people that are suppose to protect the interest and coexistence of the common man are the once trampling on it with pride, if you take a close look at most of Nigeria's uniform men especially the LASMA and Police it's either they're having a kind of weird lifestyle or their family or children you'd noticed some strange misfortune in them... They don't even know it's happening to them but people see it happening to them.

The curse people rein on them is what is actually responsible for their misfortunes. Only a few with a clean hands are living normal lives.

Good day senior colleagues.

Please, I registered for bolt and my account was activated yesterday. I tried going online today and was told that my driver picture isn't clear enough.

I've uploaded a new one and for more than 8hrs now, they are yet to approve it. I've also emailed them a complaint but nothing has been done.

I just want to confirm if this is normal or something I'd be needing to visit their head office tomorrow.

I've also tried searching for their customer care line, all to know avail.

I'd appreciate you're kind response.

You're talking of N150k how much is 150k compare to the value of a 2016 Toyota Corolla that many have forfeitured to this Stu.pid dru.g Lord and his jagagbanic slave master boss Tin.nu.bu...

Gov. Raji Fashola who was the best serving governor in Nigeria way back, reason to why many jobs are now been created in Lagos and in nigeria at large due to his technical and critical thinking for mapping the entire streets of Lagos making Google map functional thereby attracting Uber and Bolt into Nigeria, never impose such wicked and Stu.pid laws, yes he gave LASMA power but he pinned them down with human right laws so they didn't misbehave like these dogs are currently doing now.

so today, my check engine light came on while going to my 9 - 5, did a quick scan with my Bluetooth elm dongle.
The result: P0172. It's been giving some symptoms for a week now. So weekend, I'll clean the throttle body, get my Waheed to clean the injectors (Chrisfix way grin), inspect the spark plugs and also clean the MAF. Currently, my 24mpg have been compromised grin. Blackbishop, radautoworks, Gazzuz, themechy, cheerfulgiver and felicity001 grin and others. Any additions?

Fuel trims, graphing of oxygen sensors live data, and other live datas will help in determining the culprit.

The things you plan to do are already the right footings, you are on track. Also check you air filter!

I think impounding is due to one way, a driver should not take one way as we both know is dangerous to both parties. I just felt like they should have a penalty that is reasonable and applies to everyone. Once anyone beats traffic light, he or she got pick and fine like 5k, I don't think any body, not even the commercial drivers will like to beat traffic light.
