Not possible. Earnings don't change. What changes is what you save from fuel.

Best car for this hustle is the king of fuel saving, the 2010 Toyota Prius.

A Toyota Prius is 50mpg city with a 11.9gal tank or 45liters

full tank in city driving is worth 50*11.9= 595miles

Therefore, an average driver should use 20 gallons of fuel a week, or 20 x 3.8liters = 76 liters of fuel.

76 liters x 163 naira per liter is 12,388 naira per week.

Savings of 23k weekly more than a corolla/matrix/vibe. If I work 48 weeks in a year, car will save me 23 x 48= 1,104,000naira in fuel costs alone.

I have more than enough for repairs.

Car is cheaper than a 2010 corolla.

Please would this change the matrix of your calculation. Why are we not having a constructive debate on this. Should we be ready for this reality before Dangote hits us with N500 per liter for fuel. We all get to keep our beloved corolla 03 -08 and dru' bullet proof civic 03-05. Is any driver using autogas to move Lagos forward? Cost/ benefits analysis would be appreciated

Cruise control will still rev the engine just like your leg would. I don't think it will make any difference regarding fuel consumption

Uniform Constant acceleration saves gas more than when u d leave pedal and accelerate again intermitently or continuous increasing acceleration.
Cruise control will help u achieve the former without stress while d latter will most likely happen if u r driving on thirdmainland bridge when there is no traffic. Cruise control is only useful when travelling or driving on high speed on a free and long stretch of road.

All these things dey sweet for paper, even the people that have money and can afford the repairs even if they are expensive will never try using these unpopular cars.

How can one even think of using the cruise control on the 3rdMB is the bridge that long and free? The only place I feel is ideal to use it is like
Lag- Ibadan, Immidiately after redeemtion camp
Ore-Benin, the moment you enter the completed portion of the road
And other long distance routes with minimal bends, gallop and potholes.

Personally self me I don't like it because it can make one sleep off. Driving on a smooth road alone can make one sleep let alone your legs being idle for some minutes.

Truth is, you can also rev your engine with cruise control when you push that stick up gently, your vehicle accelerates and maintains the km/h at whatever point you stop, same thing happens when you push the stick down, your vehicle decelerates. Cruise control can only work on highways and on major roads where you can do 40km/h and above. Also, stepping on the brake pedal at any point, deactivates the cruise control, so you need to resume once you go above 40km/h to reactivate it.

Comrades driving on Uber alone, I guess uber has decided to do us strong thing.

It was masking of surge to prevent knowing the exact value, now it has been totally cleared off the app.
So no more chasing of surge that gives more earnings.
Destination, mba. They did strong head by not displaying Destination, yet you restrict drivers from setting Destination as they wish.

so today, my check engine light came on while going to my 9 - 5, did a quick scan with my Bluetooth elm dongle.
The result: P0172. It's been giving some symptoms for a week now. So weekend, I'll clean the throttle body, get my Waheed to clean the injectors (Chrisfix way grin), inspect the spark plugs and also clean the MAF. Currently, my 24mpg have been compromised grin. Blackbishop, radautoworks, Gazzuz, themechy, cheerfulgiver and felicity001 grin and others. Any additions?

Sir please can you give some information about your hybrid car?

What type do you drive

How long have you been using it?

What were your major and current or most common challenges you experienced with this hybrid? Kindly talk briefly about you first experience using the hybrid as well.

Would you advise anyone for the hybrid against the petrol? If yes which make and model would you suggest best for uber?

Do you have a specialist for this brand you currently driving that you can bank on when ever issues arise?

cc: Dmechy -boss I hail oh... You're doing well sir please keep it upgrin

radautoworks (mama it haf tey o dis one u just forget your boys for wilderness like dis watin dey happen na).

Considering the high cost of the popular brand and petrol taking major portion of drivers' earning it will be wise for one to divert attention into the future because electric/hybrid cars is the future.

Considering the engine size (1.8L), worst case the battery park off unexpectedly one would still be able to move around with normal comsuption like the Corolla right? Or is it that the car won't move at all if a serious electrical or battery issue comes up?

Something must kill a man but, not taking any chances is what will kill a man faster.

So your input guys.

Thanks

I don't know about the company you are talking about but is very possible ,as a transporter here in onitsha some times I do this also, maybe I don't have collateral to take such loan from the bank and it will will affect my business if I take out such money once . sometimes it seems your sienna is not going to work because it has special purpose it was purchased .if you want to invest in such business just put tracker in the vehicle with good lawyer and make sure you are dealing with the right peopleI actually think they are very smart.

The investment plan is for 12 months, after which they get to keep the Sienna for themselves

So when I bring 3,054,000, they will pay 343,912 for 12 months.

This means that they would pay 4,127,944 in 12 months.

They can even park the car in their house and be paying you sef. After 12 months, it's theirs grin
