The ish abt automatic is once it picks,they won't collect it back should it have or dev a fault. So u must go with a trusted ac man or any ac man u dey use that knows refurbished. Ladipo its like a t junction ,u will see dirt along the road with that trash lorry bark along the road...to the right is ladipo extension,they sell car engines,car parts,if ubmove front small u will see whr they are selling jeans,clothes. When I went thr In 2019,I was scammed cos the parts I needed it badly,I saw one and the parts only costs 20k,but Cos I was desperate,them chip me 28k. Dont show desperation and carefully examine and inspect all compressors,do not allow them install it,cos they wil just install and not flush out anything. Be sharp,inspect, smell,if possible tell them to pieces it,check the blades,clutch and others, and they should give u at least 60 days personal warranty with a written agreement cos that ladipo,if u like carry police,they all work hand in hand with those fraudulent parts seller.

I recommend it...manual can be repaired or worked on incases of seal leakages or body leakages etc. Then you can ascertain a good manual before mounting it, u can't ascertain a good auto until you mount it ... automatic no dey hear repair or anything..

Incase of the leaking water , let an ac specialist check the drainage pipe. It's not fitted.
Secondly, does it take your car to be on top speed before your AC turns cold?
Is it auto or manual?
Does it reduce when you are in a hold up or static?

What can cause vibration and rattling sound when ac is on and car is engaged in gear, the noise is annoying, but once you take car back to neutral or park it stops.

Note ac works perfectly.

What kind of car ..is it v6 or 4 plug engine?...does it stop vibrating while driving or when u revv the engine but start vibrating when you are in a hold up for instance..or stop revving.
Cos if it's vibrating before you move at all, let's say in the morning, it could be your car slow is low..that can cause it too..

Thanks sir, the noise stops once i rev high, but if the car is on hold up you will hear the noise and vibration. Unless i put in neutral or park.

do you mean it doesn't vibrate while the car is in neutral or park while the ac is still on?....it only vibrate while its on drive...am i correct?

Let him check for blockage.. more specifically the expansion valve..since only one side is cooling...nothing to fear about ,if the technician is competent...

What kind of compressor, is it auto or manual?

Pls if we convert a car (Nissan Almera 1999 model) from RHD to LHD, can it affect d AC after conversion. Can AC still be normal?

If the conversion is neatly done, you shouldn't have any issues.
My golf 5 diesel engine is 7months old. (8,000miles covered post conversion)
Ac is factory fitted (vdc compressor) and works fine.

Just ensure the complete LHD unit of evaporator/heater assembly is used.

Don't cut or weld.

I'll suggest you have someone rev the rpm to a steady 2000 - 2500 with the AC on. Watch the compressor to see if it's slipping or if it cuts off.
