Demonic history revisionist. Abdul wasn't even a Yoruba name so how would a yoruba witch doctor bear the name abdul witch is clearly an Islamic name, plus reverse search those images and you'd find out that those are American Samoans. In your stupidity you failed simply edited a picture without doing your scam well. Dumb flatin0 pig, and you're yet to show us pictures of your fashion designer gucci tribesmen grin stupid rettarded bush running ngwua cannibals.
An Afonja always deny and betray each other.
See the way you have denied Prince Adeliayo Glawumi of ABEOKUTA and his witch doctor Abdul. If you know your people's history you would have known that many Yorubas have been converted and civilised by the Fulani by then but many after accepting Islam still went back to traditional religion with their Islamic names (that is why the North and Fulani can never accept Yorubas as true Muslims).
Now that aside.
What do you have to say about the Ijebu Women of Lagos below?

I knew some idiot would bring up this falsehood. But repeating a lie multiple times doesn't make it truth.

The agbada style clothing isn't synonymous only with the Yoruba's but the fabric such as aso-oke done in parts of Oyo and adire done in parts of ogun state for hundreds of years ago is testament to the fact that we didn't inherit agbada from any fulani from futa jalo.....plus have you even taken time to research the typical fulani dressing? A simple google search would cure your ignorance; first picture below is the known fulani dressing, after that is an ancient picture of an ibadan bride, groom and his best man taken in the early 19th century, after that is a picture of Igbo women taken around the same time.....you can't revise history to help your damaged ego unfortunately.
Are you talking about this Oyo or another one?
PS: The picture was taken not far from now. Even the people in the picture are waiting for a Motor (lorry)

And what you showed as Yoruba clothing (Aso oke and the rest) are actually Fulani clothing. A little research would have saved you from this self induced embarrassment. As we progress I will be posting the real Fulani clothing you got the Aso oke from and where it happened. FULANI was the ones that clothed and civilised Yorubas not Britain

At present there are no deep sea ports in Nigeria.

Apapa and Tin Can Ports are built in the Lagoon.

Onne Port, Rivers State is built on Bonny River (there is no Sea in Port Harcourt and the city is about 30km inwards away from the Atlantic ocean).
Warri and Calabar are also built in Estuaries.

So after building deep sea port in Bonny, how will the cargo be moved to places like PH etc?

By nonexistent road?

By nonexistent rail?

By transferring to a smaller vessel that will probably charge same or more than it cost to ship from abroad?

Or maybe there is a grand plan to build 10 Lane highway and standard gauge 4 track rail line to Bonny?

Am I missing something?

They are the real pictures of the represented tribes no doubt, infact the igbos were once worst than that, But saying the pictures were taken at the same period of time is where i say you not being cheerful with the truth as the technologies used in taking the photos are of different gens.. Lets put it this way, when telling histories what you dont know use the word "not sure" by doing so you will triger the readers to do more researches on that aspect there by getting the solution.

Truth of the matter all humans were once nude but due to the harsh european weather they were forced to make cloth to survive mean while africans dont nead cloth to survive the weather instead we needed something light.. Nessecity they say is founder of invention, the european needed to come up with things in other to make them survive, africa on the otherside was merciful to her inhabitants..

If you can't post the source of your images then you're capping thrash. Not denying that not all parts of yoruba land were clothed initially but you claims haven't proven that Yoruba's inherited the agbada from bororos who you hardly even see wear agbada apart from their royals... you've also not brought any proof showing where isi-agwu or red cap was worn in pre colonial times. Typical of an insecure flatin0s bush running chimp.

Yes parts of ijebu weren't always clothed but your earlier picture was false and rettarded. If the witch doctor was bearing the name abdul it means he most likely would have converted to Islam and wouldn't be a witch doctor, plus the image is of Samoan origin. You're basically going on a coping rant. I understand, igbos were ngwua Forest running cannibals until a Yoruba man by the name of Samuel Ajayi Crowther brought them civilization. grin

Lol stupid argument but you couldn't resist the urge to urge....you bring no pictures or evidence showing where the isi-agwu is worn in pre-colonial Nigeria, you show a second picture of an afro-asiatic man claiming to be a hausa man lol.... I told you that aso-oke and adire were done hundreds of years ago and your counter agruement was simply "big lie" are you telling me that the Yoruba agbadas displayed in British museums were done by people who don't know yoruba wears.....am quite busy today, don't have time to respond to emotionally insecure flatin0s with no history.

Brah! It's a stupid argument that you can never win. Even if you win the argument, it doesn't change anything. There's only a handful of us still on this page. Probably a handful of people will read it in future with a handful of likes. You're just indulging your ego.

Fam, as much as you may wish, Igbo is not same Igbo in as many "selective" stock pictures as you may like to post. Despite obvious huge setback, the Igbo keeps on moving forward. 1 step forward, 3 backwards, 4 steps forward. Yes it's painful and difficult, and there are probably easier ways to do it, but we are Igbo and we do it the Igbo way. The Igbotic way. The Okoro way or whatever you may call it, but it's our way. Die hard and frustratingly resilient. Able to withstand what will have obliterated others. We chest am, nack hand for chest, and move on. We argue among ourselves. We fight each other. We are our own worst critics. But we emerge more determined and better.

I know the transformation from how our society was in the 19th century to where we are now, defies logic and is exceptional. The bounce back from the civil war where your parents and grandparents were celebrating "Igbos are now our slaves" was mind blowing. "Igbo wey dey chop stone" is now big landlord eh? E pain. That's life

Upon all your attack attack attack, has anything changed? No. Will anything change? No.

Let it go brah.

Election is fast approaching and Amechi remembers home. But this time around, he would not have any project to show his people during campaign, he has only an empty piece of land termed proposed site for deep sea port to show them as his achievement for 8 years. But are Niger Delta fooled politically? Impossible! We know the gimmicks. He has been busy building rail line across the North up to Niger Republic that has nothing and West, forgetting the Goose that lays the golden egg; Niger Delta. APC should just forget the region, it is not for taking in the next election. The region was abandoned yet IRA resources was used well.
Amaechi doesn't need to show anyone anything, u and I know that if we start asking for visible projects, no politician death or alive will defeat Amaechi

I wonder when Igbos copied this red cap from Egypt/Sudan and Kanuris. It looks weird on them

Ndigbo do not copy from any body. The Egypt/Sudan cap is completely different in format. Everything Igbo is very original without any foreign intervention.

Red cap like isi-agwu is a recent introduction in Igbo culture. Your fore fathers had no civilization talkless of an empire... ..they ran around, hunted and fvcked around half naked in the forest.....your dressing was similar to that of the Zulu's of south africa....not that it's a bad thing. Have you seen Zulu women in their traditional wears....the problem with you Igbos is that you're always trying so hard to westernize your culture.

You have written like a dumbass dingbat. I guess silence is the best way to hide ignorance. The is nothing such as "Red cap like isi-agwu". In addition, empires are not the source of civilization. Your village empire knew nothing about democracy which Ndigbo practiced to the bewilderment of Europeans. Is it funny to you that the silly and village empires you tout are now relic of history?

But indulge me a bit. What triggered you in this topic? Apparently it's a project in a non-Igbo town, in a non-Igbo state being attended by a minister of Ikwerre origin.

Was it the Igbotic attire? You feel let down by Amaechi for wearing such?

Was it just general hostility for a major project (even though it may never see the light of day) being planned outside SW that you erroneously feel might have the potential of breaking the monopoly of the SW ports? Its too close to the SE for your comfort?

What triggered you to turn to your usual whipping wanking horse?

Your inability to comprehend what I said isn't my problem. I was simply saying that the red cap, like the isi-agwu are both recent additions to igbo culture. god you people are daft.

And the Yoruba culture which you stupidly call relic of history survived the slave ship and made it's way to the Americas, one of the very few African cultures to survive slavery in the new world and is still being practiced over there....back in nigeria when people are referring to Nigerian culture it's largely yoruba culture they're referring to.
